Aveanna Hospice's Online Review Report Card

My mother began under home health care. The physical therapist did a wonderful job. Mother eventually entered their hospice care. My father has Parkinson's, my sister is disabled, and I live in Phoenix. I don't know what we would have done without Willowbrook. They supplied professionals on a daily basis (Monday - Friday) to bathe her, shampoo her hair, change sheets, provide oral care, and encouragement. The social worker helped with all the insurance paperwork and would have lined up respite care. The RN's ordered all of mother's medications, put them in pill carriers for dad, provided medical updates, and again, encouragement. If you're Christian, the chaplain is amazing. Even if you have your own minister, I highly recommend involving Jon. He specializes in comforting those approaching death while supporting the family. Then he's there to help you afterward to cope with your grief. When mother passed, one phone call brought an RN, who handled preparing the body and notifying the mortuary. I fell in love with every member of Willowbrook's staff. I honestly don't know how we would have made it without them. They are kind, compassionate, caring, professional, and personal.

This company is AMAZING far as their customer service goes. The company was chosen by the MidTown St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville TN. My grandma was emitted in to the hospital for bleeding out the rectum, and was on Dialysis, long story short, my grandma chose to stop dialysis, after 12 to 13 years of doing it, and chose to do hospice in the comfort of our home. The man who delivers the equipment to your home, is great! He was very polite and makes conversation to ease the tension of the situation. He does not damage anything such as furniture. He moves quickly as well. There were only two nurses I met, and there was a few aids that help with caring and bathing your family member, they were all beautiful women, with such pleasant personalities! They all were very understanding of our needs and wants, very polite and caring, took their time, and made conversation with myself and family, as well as my grandma, my grandma loved the care she got, so much she told at least two women by the name of Megan, and Tammy "I love you" She had smiles and laughter from both of these ladies, and they brought her SO much joy before her transition. The two of these ladies I would ask for if I were on my last days for sure! They are funny and make your troubling experience much easier to deal with during that time. Megan is considered our Angle in disguise and for that I will forever be grateful god brought her to us the night my grandma shared her INCREDIBLE spiritual moment with us, Megan witnessed such a POWERFUL AND MEANINGFUL moment with myself, grandma, and mom. We all were blessed to experience God in the room with us, LITERALLY!!! His presence was so uplifting!!!! Megan felt it too she began to get good bumps and shed happy tears with us! In this moment My grandma keeps smiling and laughing and looking at Megan with such pride and happiness as if she knew why she was there, We called Megan at 8:30pm Thursday night on Valentines Day, she was called because my grandma was gasping for air and coughing and choking on her fluids, they had proscribed my grandma medicine, but my mom and I was uncertain which one it was, so we called Megan as she was the on call nurse that night, she offered to come by all the way to Murfreesboro where we reside, and when Megan got there, she checked my grandma right away and her vitals and everything sounded great she said nothing to alarm us or worry us, the moment she started helping my grandma change her diaper and talking to her my grandma's spirit and personality came back to life she went from not talking or laughing all day even since the day before, to laughing, hearing Megan clear as day without her hearing aid! And alert, not only did it amaze my mom and myself, but Megan as well considering this was not her mood when she first got there! I promise you this company is really good, if you get Megan ask her about her testimony!

I highly recommend this company for your in home healthcare needs. They are timely and professional. The girls that come help my mom are wonderful. Their staff work together to provide the best care. They get things done fast if you need help communicating with doctors and such. Great experience.
