List of Deka Efobi's Reviews
I got there at 2:00pm, and waited an hour to get back to the doctor rooms. From 3:00pm until 4:50pm, I waited for the doctor to come in. Nurse practitioner came in at 4:50pm, scheduled tests to be done at different locations. Too much waiting time for them to just send me elsewhere. Dr. Efobi neurologist in Murfreesboro.
Only doctor to help me with my migraines and nerve pain. Love all the providers in this office!!
Dr Efobi is compassionate, listens and an extremely competent practitioner. I have worked with neurologists and I consider her best in her practice
She took the time to listen to me and was willing to get things moving for therapy for my stroke. She has great heart and is respectful. She made me feel comfortable and was interested in helping me right away. She’s a wonderful doctor and definitely worth the drive for me. I am so thankful to have found her.
I have been a patient for 5 years now. Dr. Efobi is a great doctor. She takes all the time needed to listen and is very thorough. She explains the condition and treatment in such a way that it is easy to understand. I would highly recommend her to everyone. The staff is also very professional and friendly.
Unfortunately under Dr. Efobi's care my wife passed away from lack of a proper diagnosis over a multiple month period. We went many times to her office and usually we were seen by a Nurse Practitioner instead of the doctor. When complaining of headaches for months, the only thing the NP suggested was originally a prescription of some sort that did no good and then eventually told us to get a high does of magnesium (no good either). After eventually taking her to the Vanderbilt Emergency room, she died 17 days later from complications related to a long term blood clot in the brain that should have been caught earlier. Don't bother going to this doctor unless your issues are minor and for sure don't settle for a Nurse Practitioner while there. I lost the love of my life and she was only in her late 40's. Lets see how long this review remains up before it gets deleted as well.
I would love to leave a review of Dr Efobi. I had an appointment with her. They called and verified it. I guess they figured since I am a self pay patient they really couldn't milk me out of much, so at the last minute, and without telling me, they discarded me into the nurse practitioners heap. At that point, I had only been sleeping a few hours at a time, so I was truly in an altered mental state. So I guess they decided to take advantage of me. I never saw the dr Ky dr wanted me to see. Very unprofessional staff telephone operator hard to hear made appt on monday for wed told us to arrive 30 min to fill out paperwork arrived no-one there lady neglected to tell us they were not in lebanon office on wed told us to be there @10:45 onthurs daughter arrived at 10:15 to do paperwork they had window closed and ignored her after my daughter tapped on window daughter asked about filling her paper work out they said they didnt have her in system then said they didnt see new pat.wo ref.
The doctor is seemingly nice, her staff isn't . She orders tests with no follow through. I waited weeks for a procedure performed in her office. Her excuse, my last appt, "I've not had time to review the results and I will call you with results next week". It took weeks and numerous phone inquiries to her office and nothing! I I actually paid for my records and got a new doctor. I've read a neurologist treats Medical aspects of the brain even when a patient is scared and upset. I was WRONG
Dr Efobi is a good dr. The time spent waiting for her is very long 3 plus hours my list visit. Over 4 one other time. Her staff changes each time I am there, and the follow up of her staff is not good. My insurance denied a medication and the staff dropped the ball several times in getting it approved. I will not be returning as a patient I will seek a doctor that respects my time and keeps to a better schedule, I can understand a hour wait by 3 plus hours come on, book your appointments better and do not keep your patients setting around all day.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
