Dr. Louthan listens carefully to what I said about my symptoms and learning to cope with COPD. He seemed very empathetic with my concerns and addressed each item I asked him about. He seemed extremely knowledgeable and his staff was very kind, helpful, and friendly.

Dr. Louthan did an excellent job with my 91-year-old mother, was very attentive, asked her lots of questions, gauged the soundness of her answers against my facial expressions (impressive!) and tactfully solicited my input in a way that didn't make Mom feel minimized. He took his time with us -- the whole practice did. It took weeks to get in to the practice, but we're certainly glad we didn't look elsewhere, because we couldn't have received better care!

There is no finer physician in Middle TN than Dr. Louthan. I have been seeing him for close to 20 years and he has managed my asthma that was often very severe before I started seeing him. I recommend Dr. Louthan to anybody that I know who has breathing problems including sleep apnea.
