Dr. Kayla was amazing! My in-laws had to bring my baby in while I was out of town and she called me and talked with me through everything. Made me feel very involved in her care, even from miles away!!

Kayla is very sweet and kind. Very helpful with any questions we have! Never feel rushed with any appointments which I love. She’s the best and I would recommend to anyone!! The staff is amazing as well. They’re always very welcoming. Only had one very upsetting encounter with a nurse recently when I went in for my 2 month olds shots. The nurse came in to give the shots and she noticed I didn’t fill out the postpartum papers and asked me why they weren’t filled out yet when she “told me to fill them out” as she stated.. mind you I was fully distracted by my baby and I was showing her so much love before the nurse came in because she was about to get her shots. When she had mentioned the the papers I went to grab them and she immediately gave my baby her first shot WITHOUT ME. I didn’t even get a chance to comfort my own baby and it broke my heart. All I heard was a huge scream and cry when I turned my back and I went over to comfort her and kiss her and the nurse said “oh she’ll get over it.” As she continued to give the rest in which she just jabbed it in really fast. Didn’t even go slow or console my baby as other nurses I’ve seen in the past with friends/families babies. Definitely will be requesting a different nurse at her 4 months!

We love Dr Kayla! I liked our dr before but she retired so I decided to move to the shelbyville pike location which is closer for us and am so glad we did. Office and nursing staff I’ve encountered have been kind and helpful. She’s always happy and helpful and thorough and interacts great with the kids!

We love MMC because of Dr. Kayla! She’s one of the ones that you know genuinely cares about your child and your visit. Coming from a smaller town, we had trouble finding a doctor that we felt we could really trust to listen to us. Dr. Kayla is that doctor! The biggest plus is that she is seriously GREAT with my baby girl! She’s really one of the best! ❤️
