Nashville Fertility Center's Online Review Report Card

We are in FET cycle and doing remote surveillance through Wake Forest. Having US/blood work done twice weekly at NFC Franklin. Our order states need results by 2pm Eastern time. No one at the office had an issue and the first appt, things went seamless. However, the appt on Friday did not and our clinic didn't receive results. Called NFC and transferred to someone's VM. I then called back insisting that I speak to someone personally and the receptionist was very rude, talking over me and saying nothing more could be done. I asked to speak to office manager and was told it wouldn't make a difference. I was transferred anyway and surprise, another VM. Here we are waiting for labs that were drawn at 10am still not done, while our RE at Wake cannot advise us what to do. Very unprofessional and likely their actions will cause us to have to scrap this cycle. A waste of 5k of our money. April was the name of the receptionist. I am a physician and even after telling them that, still treated poorly. I would strongly advise to weigh your options carefully before using this clinic

we have had nothing but good experiences with NFC. We have had two successes with a couple minor hiccups (surgery, fluid in uterus, etc) and Dr Weitzman was amazing through it all! We are

You would think within this industry that the demeanor of the staff would be, at the very least, kind to their patients. The attitudes of their staff is so poor that it was addressed with management and this pompous man (the clinic director) who certainly doesn't have sensitivity to what myself and other women are going through- told me to hit the road. After he "mansplained" that he's an expert on IVF because he did IVF 18 years ago. How inappropriate for a man to say this to a woman currently undergoing IVF. What an awful experience for such a sensitive time- and one that is expensive in so many ways. You are just a number to them- with a director like that in office it's no wonder the rest of the staff treat you like you mean nothing. Do not go here.

Our experience was a truly blessed experience. We were connected with the BEST nurse and doctor for our family. We had Nurse Tina and Dr. Hill. I could not have asked for a better experience. Dr. Hill performed the transfer, but there were other doctors who executed the retrievals and they were amazing as well. I felt at home every time I arrived to an appointment with Tina. She always answered my questions and made me comfortable with the information I didn't know. She communicated regularly and was the best support system along the way. The was our first time going through this process and also the first couple in both of our families, so it was all new to us. Our experience at the Nashville Fertility Center was top notch and I couldn't be any more grateful to have my little one who has turned one now. :)

Good luck trying to schedule a simple appointment. After 30 plus minutes of waiting on the phone I couldn't get through. Going somewhere else to do a test.

Was told to leave the waiting room because I had to watch my friends baby while she went in. They said I might offend someone who's sensitive. I get it it's tough, but to MAYBE avoid offending a very specific person they sure offended me. I felt less than, segregated, and I was just trying to help. The kicker is instead of just being in the waiting room corner. I was in the main entrance... EVERY single couple and patient had to then walk directly by me anyways! Even closer.... Do better. receptionist was snarky too

Horrible experience! The front office staff ladies are rude and insensitive. First the lady told me I was lying about sending in paperwork and I know it was sent. Instead of going back and forth over the phone I decided to go up there and have an in person discussion. She finally "found" my paperwork and then proceeded to tell me they couldn't service me until I presented a specific date of service. As I'm texting my doctor for more detailed information she then comes back to tell me they are unable to service me all together because I'm choosing to go to an out of state location. If that is the policy (it sucks) but I understand they are just relaying information. My issue is...it's not what you say it's how you say it. Additionally, customer service should play a big role in their line of business, which both front desk ladies lack tremendously! Secondly, the doctor only comes to see you the day of the procedure. They have a multitude of nurses (never the same one) communicating with you throughout process. Each one projecting their unsure energy onto you.

Currently having a full circle moment writing this review. I'm holding our 4 month old rainbow baby and just recieved a sweet card and book from NFC/Dr.Smith. After 3 yrs of infertility, losses and several doctors we settled on Dr. Smith at NFC. TRUST YOUR GUT, do your research and advocate for yourself by finding a physician that is a good fit for you. Dr. Smith and the nurses took their time to explain everything to both myself and my husband. She was patient and gave us all the information so that we could make the right choice for our family each step of the way. We never felt uncomfortable, pushed or like we were just a means to make a dollar. At NFC, they are efficient & professional which made the ivf process and all that comes before/after as seamless as possible. We will be returning to Dr. Smith at NFC for future transfers. We are forever grateful for NFC for helping to us bring our sweet rainbow baby girl.

We were extremely satisfied with our experience with Nashville Fertility. We used both the Murfreesboro and Nashville offices. Our experience at both was phenomenal! Supportive, encouraging, welcoming and knowledgeable staff made our experience much more pleasurable. Dr. Weitzman was so great. He explained every aspect of our situation and all the options we had from that point. He is very knowledgeable and up to date on current research and procedures. He has high expectations which was comforting for us in our journey. We are forever grateful to him and his staff!!
