My doctor has been wonderful and has made sure I know about every aspect of my care. I could not recommend a better doctor than doctor Shepard.I do have advice. If you’re getting a surgery do not, and I mean DO NOT, watch a video of the surgery on YouTube before hand. It does not help and I have learned some things about back muscles that I honestly wish I never knew.

Dr Shepard was very impressive. Knowledgeable and friendly. He explained my condition to me and did not push me toward surgery. I definitely will recommend him to anyone with back issues and pain!

I have never had any pain or problems with my back so I was nervous to go to a new doctor and try to explain what was going on. He was the nicest, kindest guy ever. Very attentive and listened to everything I said/asked. He explained everything in detail, gave me a specific treatment plan, a timeline for when I can expect changes, etc. I am very pleased with my experience and will definitely recommend him to anyone else who is having back issue.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr Nicholas Shepard. He put my wife and I at ease the first time we met him. He clearly explained, using my X-rays and MRI film, what was giving me problems in my lower back (spine) and then covered the steps he would take, during the surgery, to correct those problems. My wife and I left that first meeting fully confident in Dr Shepard.After the operation I expected to endure some fairly high level of pain during my stay at the hospital and also after being released, but I did not experience that level of pain. On a scale of 1-10 my pain/discomfort was no more than a 2. Needless to say I was very surprised and thankful about that.

After my visit with Dr. Sheppard, I felt better about my back situation. He is very personable and answered all my questions in terms that I could understand. I would recommend him to family and friends!

Dr Shepard is a very good Dr, he is a great listener and he explains really well my health issues and gives me the best option to get me feel better. I will recommend him to anyone from my family and friends.

Dr. Shepherd took his time and listened to me. Then reviewed the x-rays and went over treatment optionsI felt that he actually cared about me and not just treat me as a number to throw information at and run out the room. I will definitely keep him as my physician as the need arises. He restored my faith in TOA since my first experience with TOA with a different physician was not good at all!!

I have always gone to u guys for the last 25 years and the experience has always been excellent I cannot ask for a better team that has worked on me with my back surgery and my neck surgery and my wrist surgery thank you very much for what are y'all do. Dr. Shepherd answered all my questions and explain everything in detail to me thank you very much
