I am completely in AWE of this man’s work. I came to see Dr. Jahangir when I had almost lost hope of getting my femur fracture repaired. I went through a total of 5 surgeries, (all conducted by the same doctor in Knoxville ) i did some research and found a medication and also an electronic device that are supposed to be helpful in healing fractures but she denied both requests for a prescription. After a year, she told me unless I wanted a revision surgery there was nothing more she could do. I asked to be released to return to work. I worked for 4 months. Until I was simply walking and my rod broke along with my femur. Again. 4 more surgeries, a hospital acquired infection and months of excruciating recovery and I was no better off. Then I found Dr. Jahangir. He came highly recommended he was very polite, courteous and humble. He agreed to take my case. THANK GOD for this man. He was able to put my leg back together 3 days ago now and I have had ZERO PAIN! I can walk without a cane and I feel Amazing. I’m beyond pleased.

This man saved my right arm, literally, after a car wreck. An elderly, distracted driver crossed the midline and hit me head-on, 8 years ago today. Among other injuries, my thumb was turn off and my arm broken in more than one spot—this man put all the pieces back together again beautifully. He is talented, intelligent, kind, knowledgeable and I am forever grateful he was there for me at that traumatic period of my life.

One of the top surgeons in USA. He put me back together in March 2012, after I was broken into many pieces, top and bottom, after a major car crash & my condition looked hopeless. Eleven years later, I am in great condition for age and issues. I live a happy, blessed life, every day. If Dr. Jahangir had not been available in the Vanderbilt Surgical Trama Unit to put me bck together, like Humpty Dumpty, you would not be reading this, as I would not be here. Our Creator has blessed us with this highly gifted man & I am sure he has only gotten better with age!

On JUNE 13, 2016, GOD WORKED THROUGH MY TRAUMA ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON , DR. AMIR JAHANGIR, FROM VANDERBILT TO LITERALLY SAVE MY LEFT ARM AFTER ME BEING IN A /GUN/DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SITUATION. I was a Mail Carrier for 18 years when my tragedy happened, and I am STILL a Mail Carrier today: Going on 23 years and counting. I still have ABSOLUTELY NO NERVE DAMAGE!! I WILL NEVER FORGET!! I thank God for Dr. Jahangir every day. HE is truly the BEST OF THE BEST!! Even my family loved him because he took time out, never rushing, to explain everything to them. I REMAIN FOREVER GRATEFUL ?

I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Jagangir. I was in a serious car accident with multiple injuries. My right leg was snapped in half like a twig below the knee. He performed multiple surgeries but unfortunatey I suffered multiple complications including infection that required me to have a pic line TWO different occasions. Everyone in my family was trying to convince me amputation was the only way. However, I wanted to fight for my leg. Dr. Jahangir was very thorough in explaining the options I had. I expressed to him my concern about the amputation. He looked me in the eyes and said he wasn't gonna give up on me and as long as I wanted to keep fighting for my leg, he would operate on me. Multiple surgeries later here i am, walking without any metal in my leg pain-free, with a slight limp. I would like to say Dr. Jahangir is a miracle worker, I could never thank him enough. 10/10 recommend! Outstanding doctor, with great beside manner. Thank you Dr. Jahangir from the bottom of my heart❤

After my husband had a serious hip injury and was taken to Vanderbilt, Dr Alex Jahangir was his surgeon. We feel so fortunate that he was!! He did the extensive surgery and we are very pleased with it! Dr. Jahangir is wonderful in the follow up appointments and gave us time to ask any questions we want.He is very personable. We highly recommend this doctor!!

Dr. Jahangir gives you a straight answer and doesn't try to sugar coat anything. He is very knowledgeable and takes his time to listen and answer questions that you may have.
