Dr. Thomson is an outstanding orthopedic specialist who is not only very professional but sincerely focused on providing the best patient care possible. To describe him as a superstar in his field of specialty would still be inadequate to fully reflect his level of expertise . Although Dr. Thomson had thoroughly reviewed the surgical procedures he planned to perform on my ankle, he then returned to the recovery room to talk with me about the actual surgery. In particular he described the bone spur remediation and the lengthening of my achilles tendon. As a credit to his surgical skill ( and the expertise of Dr Norton , my anesthesiologist ) , I have incurred virtually no pain nor complications after the surgery. Yes, I was a patient but also a recipient of " the Elite Experience " of superb medical care.

Dr. Thomson was very kind and attentive. He really listened to me and came up with a plan of action to help me. All of the doctors and PA here have been wonderful. I see Dr. Raab, and his PA, Kirby, for my knees. They are both amazing too. I love this place!

Dr. Thomson was very professional and pleasant. He readily diagnosed the problem I was experiencing with my foot; a problem other physicians had not been able to diagnose. No that we have the diagnosis, we’re considering treatment options and plans.

I have seen a number of foot & ankle specialists in Nashville and Dr. Thomson is hands down, THE BEST. He was comprehensive in addressing my complaints & offering suggestions. I didn’t feel brushed off like I have by other providers - which we know is common in the medical field. I would only recommend this doctor if given one choice (I’ve seen three others in Nashville). Thank you for your compassionate and honest care Dr. Thomson!

Dr. Thomson is very thorough, kind and compassionate. He listens to your concerns to help find a solution to your problem. Definitely recommend you giving him an opportunity to help you with ankle or foot pain.

Dr. Thomson spent time explaining my plan of action for foot surgery. He answered all of my questions. The surgery was successful. I had very little pain and followed his post-op instructions. I feel he is a highly educated doctor in his field. I will also have surgery on my other foot this summer with Dr. Thomson. We live 2 hours away and I'm so thankful we made the decision to go with him.

20 plus years ago I sprained an ankle and did not seek medical attention. Upon the advise of a local surgeon I sought out Dr. Thomson. He literally reworked my whole foot and replaced my ankle. For the first time in 20 years I am able to walk pain free. Thank you Dr. Thomson you have changed my life and let me live again...
