It is far too long to explain and to type with my hand issues. I am treated like a thick schoolgirl; mind I’m 62 yo. I was running races before he was ever born so Aaron I actually do understand everything you say. God if you could have been a fly on the wall when he kept asking me ad nauseum “do you understand me?” Nearly every time I come into the clinic for follow up appointments, he bungles up something. At this last visit, he sent 3 of my prescriptions to be picked up in Panama City Beach, FL; I’ve lived in Nashville since 1983. This means I had to miss this evening’s dose of pregabalin as well as tomorrow. There is something wrong with him. He is denigrating and smug.

I went in to see him about upper back pain and scoliosis developing. I had 2 GI surgeries which effected my muscles in my abdomin causing my back to become off center. I think he was scared of me being a former orthotist. He basically blew me off. Only his assistant looked at my back. Even had me make my own MRI appointment. Said even if they found an issue they probably won't treat me. Saying I had too many problems.

I am a retired SF Solider with severe lower back pain. Dr Yang has extraordinary bed side manners. Dr. Yang understood my situation and made a few recommendations based on what I had explained. After years of dealing with many in the medical profession, I am on my way to being able to do things I was not for the last few years. Remarkable!!

Was referred to him about upper back and neck pain. Scoliosis was starting to show. Because I had 2 GI surgeries and leukemia he said even if they found something on my MRI he wouldn't treat it. Only his assistant looked at my back. Because it was thoracic there was nothing he would want to do. No brace or options.

I have been treated from this condition before by my uncle .He is a Dr overseas but since covid I could not travel to see him. So Dr Yang treated me he made me feel like I was one of his relatives.And I am feeling better and very grateful! !Highly recommend him.

If you're seeking a spine specialist who is knowledgable, sensible, and conservative -- not looking to chop you up first thing -- then he is my #1 recommendation. I have collaborated with Dr. Yang with multiple patients, and I could not ask more from a Nashville orthopedic physician. Top notch!
