This facility is decent but the head nurse Emily was rude, uninformed about my mother-in-law’s medical situation. She had threw up multiple times and she argued with us about that fact. Whiile I was speaking to her she hung up and said the phone was breaking up when it wasn't. She was excessively rude and wouldn't listen, all she want to do was argue. I have no idea why all she did was upset my husband and I. If she would have listened to out concerns everything would have been fine. Why she had to add an extra layer of stress to an already stressful situation is beyond me.

Well. I went there to work. It was a pretty place. The staff was partially decent one and she didn't show me anything . She was just cordial. But I will say the staff is messy and lies on agency. As if if u dont move when they say move they will say go home. Meaning they team up against agency . I had 17 patients. I wasn't told where the supply room or dirty linen room. One patient was very aggravated he felt lied to. HE THEN asked the nurse aid training me who was in charge. He told her she said was she white or black he said white. She said oh yeah that is E.... she ain't no good and she a liar etc,... cuss her out good. So that's what I seen and experienced in 3hrs time . A beautiful building with weird people in place. I tried to work but I think they didn't want me there because I had a nicer car in the lot so it may have been them hating im not sure. But they are messy. The building is nice and clean though. It's a mixed atmosphere with different races of people . I didn't detect racism but maybe prejudice and nit picking. No respect for management or agency staff. 17 patients is a stretch. The law states 12 patients no more than 15. So actually I'm glad I wasn't able to stay. Who wants to be over worked . However the aid told me there was a patient that didn't prefer blacks the staff was at the desk gossiping and none of their call lights were ringing . So they basically put agency of tough hall. I wasn't even given a walk thru but a piece sticky note paper saying who was or wasn't continent and I over heard staff saying what happens is in the morning people are left wet. But haters link together when they don't like a Person. N this was a messy place in good condition. I wouldn't have left a soul wet. But some time people abuse authority. Said some woman was at home watching cameras . Meaning she could be at work helping or some thing. Weird .com . I wouldn't go back . Basically because messy . Why wouldn't they help agency I mean I don't know the building .

OVERALL EXPERIENCE: Advanced Healthcare of Nashville has a spectacular OT & PT team (superstars: Aurbree OT. Leia OT, Peter PT, Mallory PT). I, 42F, had a full right ankle replacement. Due to this being my second hospitalization in 2024; my left side was at 30%. My personal goal was to maintain my right strength & get my left to at least 50% - SUCCESS! **General staff of superstars: Tameesha Day RN, Keelie Day RN, Alan Night RN, Shelby Night RN, Mafie Tech, Aurbree Tech. Shontae Tech, Jameela Tech, Trinity Tech, Shaketa Tech, Ms V Housekeeping, & Vonnie Housekeeping. The people & department previously mentioned is why I gave three stars. IF it wasn't for them, this would be a ONE STAR rating. LACK OF COMMUNICATION ISSUES: The lack of communication between department heads & patients is appauling. If you're on life saving medication, please make sure that you advocate for yourself or have someone in your corner if you cant! First, my medication was changed without my knowledge - no one came to speak to me to inquire why my levels wrre yo-yoing, just changed (*see outside staffing issues). Second, ithe facility scheduled me to leave on Jan 6th initially but the individual over discharge failed to start the paperwork or follow-up as stated after an appointment with my surgeon. Then on Jan 15th I was to be discharged again but wasn't due to department heads not communicating with each other (mind you they had a week to discuss this) which forced me to stay an extra week. Miy insurance only pays for 60 days of skilled-nursing for the year. So, this will cost me greatly if I ever need to this type of service again this year. I'm currently scheduled to lbe discharged on Jan 22 but that can change, again. *ND Jan 28. NUTRITION ISSUES: Their website has jokingly referred to their dining experience as "gourmet". During my two minth stay, it's been anything but gourmet. The food is heavily processed to the point that it either comes out of a bag, a can, or frozen with ZERO nutritional value (I had to be on protein shots because of this). Yes, I'm aware that it's a facility & they're cooking for the masses (up to 49 patients) but have some pride. The menu is outdared & repeats. Before coming here I was on a raw + clean diet. Talking to the food manager(s) was a waste if time. I became physically ill from the food & had to be extremely selective about what I could eat off the plate (if anything) or do UberEats. The kitchen department is under so much stress that it's changed cooks four times in two months. Weekends the dining room would be closed due to only the cook showing up for work. At one point the entire kitchen staff walked out during mid-shift, leaving the techs to scramble & finish dinner themselves. (*see pictures) OUTSIDE STAFFING ISSUES: This facility relies heavily on "agency nurses". I understand that there's a shortage in the Healthcare Field; however, you have to insure that these nurses know how to do basic medical care like give shots, change IVs. wound care, follow medication schedules, etc. These are serious issues that I've had to personally deal with or have witnessed with other patients here. Majority of the agency nurses lacked the ability to hit the ground running. So much so that I had to be granted permission to administer my own mefication (agency nurses would give my medication two to three hours after my scheduled time -- if at all. Yes there were times that the day agency nurses didn't want to do their job & put off evening meds on the night nurses). No facility's perfect but when a facility's barely three years old (avg $900k+/mo), has building maintenance issues like the call light system going out, the heating system out or improperly working in other areas, pulling staff from different departments to fill-in when department heads act too busy to pick up the slack, new staff hiding in the bathrooms/breakroom while playing on their phones instead of working, a patient -unnoticed- wondered outside after hours & fell, plus the director's leaving at the end of January - PROBLEMS!

The Advanced Health of Nashville Rehab treated my husband with such honor. It is a new beautiful new emaculent clean facility with chandeliers. The delicious nutritional balanced meals are served with colorful cloth napkins with fancy restaurant’s type dishes and silverware. Delicious hot coffee and fresh fruit snacks available in their dining room throughout the day. Their elegant dining room has table cloths and decor that is warming and relaxing. Their large windows throughout the facility expands the horizon of each patient. Most of all, the management, the nurses, the aides, the Techs, Cleaning staff, the physical and occupational therapist graciously accommodates the patient to the fullest extent. My husband, a Vet, who has had combative issues in hospitals was so peaceful that his anxiety med was 1/2 of the prescribed dosage compared to the need of doubling the dosage. The Administration adapted the Nurses schedule to give medication early to meet my husband’s individual need. My 90 year plus husband is home and continuing to do Physical & Occupational Theraphy at home. He broke his hip and we expect him to continue to recover. He has a positive attitude toward exercising! The Nashville VA, Vanderbilt and Advanced Health of Nashville has turned a tragic fall into a hopeful recovery. Suncrest Home Health is continuing the excellent Physical & Occupational and Nursing Care at home. Of course the Nashville VA is always there before, during and after! As well as the Ones who pray and serve with hope and honor! Advanced Health of Nashville overall atmosphere not only brought timely healing to my husband’s body but also to his soul after his traumatic fall. With a Grateful Heart, Snow W. Griggs” Max E. Emily, Keelie,Audry and Trinity are all wonderful they take their jobs very serious. From the moment we arrived Emily made sure we were will cared for. Keelie was one of my husband nurses I felt comfortable going to work during the day and knowing she was his nurse for the day. The place is beautiful the rooms are kept very clean and the food was very good.

My partner was there for PT, OT, ST and nursing services after sepsis and CVA. He was at Stallworth prior to his admission at AHC. He was at AHC appx 4 weeks and not once did anyone contact me or any other members of his family. No discharge planning, no updates, nothing. I had to approach his nurses, the Administrator and his student PT to get any info. While the facilty is new and attractive (the food was wonderful per my partner) the lack of communication was unacceptable. I work in SNF's and am a PTA so know how these stays are supposed to go. While my partner enjoyed his stay I was dissatisfied with the lack of communication- my partner had to tell me he had a DC date.

This place is like a luxurious Hotel. I'm a resident and it's very very nice. It's far from the Nursing Homes / Facility's of the old days. You have to see it to believe it. The food is good, The Staff is respectful and helpful. I was in what I thought was a nice place before but nothing like this! I'm 74 yrs old and I have health problems on top of health problems. Diabetes, Back Trouble, Medial Meniscus problems, ( knee trouble ) and much more. I'm happy to be here. Of course I,d recommend it to anyone.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND If I could give 10 stars I would!! This is the best place for anyone who needs rehab. ALL the people here are great! The staff is amazing highly trained in their specific roles. Stayed for two plus months and they ALL went the extra hundred miles not mile to make sure I was taken care of. Not once did I ever hear a bad word. The most knowledgeable, kind, loving people who really know what they’re doing and enjoy their profession. You will be doing yourself a huge favor to place your loved ones in this rehab!! Please don’t miss the boat!!

This is a very good facility very clean , everyone is nice. This place gave me so much comfort in knowing my Dad was in good hands being that I was 200 miles away. I would choose Advance Health Care of Nashville 100 times again.A Special Thanks to his Case Manager Stephanie and his Social Worker Berhane Dohrmann for all that they did for our family and Thanks to the other staff that provided care for him.

This is a beautiful and friendly place for rehab. The rooms were large and clean, and all departments seemed to be excellent. Our 96 year old loved one, JoJo, was there for over two weeks and received physical therapy, love, great meals, and support the entire time. We have zero complaints and only praises. Although everyone was kind, a few that really stood out were Stephanie the Transitional Care Nurse, Daisie the Critical Nurse Manager, Savannah the Speech Therapist, and the two lovely Receptionists Brandi and Nara who were always sweet, fun, and uplifting. I would be remiss not to mention Marcus who made us smile calling JoJo the Queen! Thank you all so much.
