If I could give zero stars I would. I was approved for a tubal removal and ablasion pending blood work to make sure my blood count was ok. I had a follow up appointment to check my thyroid and was denied surgery. Nothing I had said or pleaded for was even listened to. To be given false hope of finally getting help and then being told no has been absolutely devastating. I was not listened to. I was lied to.
In my humble opinion, it should be illegal for any medical practice to turn away a patient because their insurance is medicare. Having said that, I give one star because that is apparently the protocol of this particular practice.
they never pick up the phone. failed to call me back after STI test. after I had to call 911 for pain in my abdomen, I went there for a visit, and the Doctor dismissed all of my symptoms and brushed it off
I work in healthcare and I was absolutely taken back by how rude the people at the front desk were and the people drawing my labs. One girl at the front desk (think her name was Andrea) even rolled her eyes at me when I asked a simple question about scheduling. It was my first time there and I was completely shocked by the way they were treating people. It was really sad… I just can’t imagine ever treating my patients this way and it made me feel horrible for all the women who go to this office… pregnancy can be stressful and I can’t imagine the added stress from uncaring staff members. I know it can be hard to change the culture in hospitals but I strongly urge whoever is reading this to hire kind/happy people. It will make a huge difference in customer satisfaction. ❤️ That being said my OBGYN seems very very kind and this review is not a reflection of the doctors there… but I don’t think I will be going back just because of the staff. Edit: just wanted to add, I never leave bad reviews and I even feel horrible leaving this one…. But I just felt like I needed to leave one so that hopefully the right person sees it and some positive changes can happen.
I have been seeing Dr. Manceau for the last 9 months for prenatal care as well as the delivery of my baby boy. She has given me the absolute best experience at every one of my appointments! Herself, her nurses and all staff have gone above and beyond to assure that I had the best experience possible from beginning to end. I recently gave birth via c section to my son and to say I was nervous would be an understatement. She went above and beyond to ease my nerves. I’m almost a week pp now and couldn’t be more happy with how the surgery went as well as the after care. I am forever grateful for my experience with her and this office and couldn’t imagine using any other doctor for any further needs or pregnancies.
It's 3:04 pm, I checked in at about 1:35, my appointment time was 1:45. Called back at 3:07 and told to sit and wait in a room because the room for the procedure I need is still occupied. I had to call my mom to pick my daughter up from school because I now wouldn't make it in time to get her due to waiting over an hour to be seen. No one updated me on what's taking so long, no one apologized for the inconvenience. I'm already looking for a new gyn office while I'm in this too waiting. This is my second time here I let the first appointment slide thinking maybe it was an off day for the staff, but this experience reassured me that I should not return.
After years of suffering with endometriosis I finally found Dr Maikis. She was able to discover other issues and quickly come up with a quick solution. She is absolutely the best!!!!
I love Dr. Binkley!! She is an exceptional person and doctor. I have been seeing her for almost 10 years now and am so thankful to have gone on my journey to motherhood with her.
Where do I even begin. Notice how all of the bad reviews are mostly about the staff, not the actual providers. It’s true. The staff here is awful, incompetent, unempathetic, rude, and a bunch of grown Mean Girls. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Reynolds on and off for 20 years. She really cares about her patients and is a lovely doctor. It’s unfortunate she won’t clean house with her staff. Laura Crawford and Lauren Cannon are major problems at this practice. Lauren yelled at me, hung up in my face, and is discriminatory toward patients of a certain hue. Her boss, Laura, supports This discrimination. In addition, there have been at least three times— one following a hospital visit— where I could not get my medicine because of the Mean Girl clique of nurses. Nurses have outright not returned calls, failed to call in prescriptions, called in prescriptions wrong, and flat out ignored me as someone with chronic pain. I do not use the word hate because it’s too strong of a word, but I truly loathe the staff of nurses at this practice.
I was seen by Roseann Maikis, I let her know the complications I was having. She did a very fast paced ultrasound to see if I had cysts. She says she didn't see anything, I sent her nurse FMLA paperwork, I paid for the forms to be completed. The nurse informed me that FMLA would only be approved for surgeries. I did not get a refund 😐. I went to see another doctor because as a black woman I had a feeling that Dr. Maikis wasn't going to listen to me. I did find another doctor and the new doctor found an adnexal mass on my fallopian tubes. Dr. Maikis was a horrible listener, and she is not thorough at all.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
