Outstanding Doctor. I have gone to Dr. Boyd for several years now. I also take my 89 year old mother who has dementia. Dr. Boyd interacts with my Mom very well and she loves and trusts him. Dr. Boyd is very knowledgeable and very caring. He listens to what his patients have to say, and takes time with them. I can't imagine going to another Dr. I absolutely love the staff at the Shelbyville location. I highly recommend Dr. Boyd.

I went in for an annual skin check and was not given a thorough exam - he only gave my arms/legs a cursory glance. I had to ask him to look at several freckles elsewhere on my body, after which he agreed one looked "weird" and biopsied it. I also asked about what I could do about the KP on my legs because I am very self conscious about it, but was curtly told that there's nothing I can do unless I want to spend tens of thousands on electrolysis procedures; he offered no other practical advice. I left feeling embarrassed and wish I had read these reviews before my appointment instead of letting Vanderbilt assign whichever doctor they had available to my case.

Personally insulted me. Rushed through the exam and ran out the door in under 3 minutes. I had to ask the nurse to have him to come back for the specific issues I had. Did not do a full body exam. I've never left a doctor's appointment so upset
