Alive Hospice Main Office's Online Review Report Card

I cannot even begin to describe the amount of respect, love and appreciation I have for everyone that works in the Murfreesboro location. My Grandma, Chrissy Martin, came here on 12/26 after having a stroke / catastrophic brain bleed on Christmas Day. The care she received here was phenomenal. The care WE , the family , received was phenomenal. My grandma made all of us hold our breath many times. Many false alarm button calls happened and she did her best to make liars out of us all. Everyone in that building found out who Chrissy was and I know she loved every second of that. We laughed, cried, played Elvis and drank so much coffee in our 6 day stay. When Grandma did take her last breath, Phyllis and Connie were beside us and even came back in to sing her Happy Birthday after her passing. I will never forget your faces. Your MD is right. What a blessing it was to have Alive as our Hospice team for the end of my father’s life. They were loving, caring, compassionate and knowledgeable to say the least. They made the hardest time in my life much more peaceful than I ever could have imagined. I want to make sure our team gets the recognition they so greatly deserve, Deb(Nurse), Sandra(tech) and Christa W. (Social worker), Karen (chaplain), please know each one of you impacted our lives and enriched the end of my father’s life. I don’t know what I would have done without Alive. When I needed help they were right there, even when I was a blubbering mess. If you are planning for Hospice at Home you need Alive! Thank you to everyone I came in contact with and everyone else waiting to help!

I would like to thank the entire staff at Alive Hospice at 1710 Patterson St., Nashville for their excellent care during my husband's stay. They were very caring and attentive to my husband as well as to me and my family.

I cannot say enough good things about Alive Hospice both inpatient and outpatient care. My mother was recently on Hospice in Kentucky and Alive made moving her to TN very easy, even with the transition from KY to TN insurance. Nurses were very knowledgeable and honest with me when I had questions about where we were in the process. When they are called out in the middle of the night, they are still very much compassionate and seem to truly care about their patients. Our primary nurse was Candice I wish I would've caught her last name, but I didn't was the absolute best. Very quick to act and didn't mind that we wanted to help out where we could. Another nurse that was AMAZING is Bonnie. She got to our home around 2am and couldn't get moms pain under control, she stayed at our home until she found a bed for Mom at the inpatient facilities, which ended up being about 5-6 hours. She was amazing and I can't thank her enough for the love she showed my mom in her final day. Mom has passed on, and I don't think I would have made it through that transition without Alive.

Amazing place with long local history of care

I do not think that all their staff is bad. I had the pleasure of meeting a couple great staff members that showed understand and compassion. The person I am high disappointed in is the social worker, Brian. I know this is a tough job but he shows absolutely no empathy and bares a bad attitude. He treats this line of work like a job that he is sick of, not a career in helping families at one of their most vulnerable moments in caring for their loved ones. It’s a lack of respect also. I am just very disappointed in his actions. Wishing him the best in managing other families in the future. Something has to change in how he deals with hospice patients.

I have worked with Alive hospice many times professionally and they have always been a reliable resource for any clients and families I’ve sent them to. Recently I called upon them at the last minute for help with my own family. They were able to get my loved one home and admitted within a matter of hours so he could be at peace surrounded by his family rather than in a hospital for his last few days of life. They were also great at checking in with our whole family after his passing and providing resources etc. cannot say enough good things about this company and all the hard work they do to provide quality care at the end of life for both the patient and the entire family.

My Mom was at the Alive Hospice facility in Nashville Tn. They were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING TO SAY THE LEAST! I was so pleasantly surprised at how they anticipated ALL her needs and our needs as her family! They were informative throughout the whole process, letting us know where she was and what to expect! They were so supportive! We would not have made it through the most difficult time without all of them! I am ever so grateful for the EXCELLENT CARE she received! It was exceptional!! I am a nurse myself and I am not typically impressed with facilities I have had experiences with…BUT ALIVE CARE TEAM AMAZED ME at how they approached and implemented a care plan for my Mom! THANK YOU!!
