Alpa Nick's Online Review Report Card

I would not be here without her, an incredible caring Doctor.

How many physicians will give you a way to reach them, at any time? Morning, noon, or night? Alpa has returned my calls when on her commute, at a ballgame for crying out loud. She has no "pride"...when our situation required a bigger team, she set us up at the Mayo Clinic. Yet she remained in touch with the Mayo team during every step. Alpa is basically shy. That can be off-putting I suppose. But she is a BRILLIANT doctor, respected at MD Anderson, the Mayo Clinic, and beyond. She's a legend that cares. That is Alpa Nick. She is still caring for my wife. She is like family at this point. In short, we love her.

I will start by saying I have never had any surgery before my diagnosis. Dr Nick was very understanding with all of my concerns and she explained in detail all the things that was going to happen.I was very nervous but she put my fears to rest. The day of surgery I was at peace because of her. My surgery was a success. Dr Nicks is the best.

I would like to say that Dr. Nick is brilliant! Her long wait times means she is working to save someone’s life! I don’t mind waiting 2 hours to see her, she is a busy, skilled care provider and I appreciate all she does and her wonderful, compassionate staff. None of the idle chit chat, she is all about care of the patient and will do anything within her power to provide for the patient. She is the most proactive doctor I have been privileged to be provided care.

Horrible beside manner! Always late to see patients. Belittling, argumentative! She messed up my whole body doing a surgery that didn't need to happen at the time. I just recently had to have another surgery to correct the mess she left me with. I am again in the hospital looking at yet another surgery to clean the mess up! I know she will NEVER apologize, sad really! Its all about the money and not ...

Dr. Nick was amazing through my hospital stays, surgery and all my follow ups. Couldn't ask for any better treatment.

Dr Nick has been incredible through my wife's journey. I can see how some reviews say her manner is rude and quick. We noticed similar when we were in stage 1 early on when we knew nothing about this, when the prognosis was good. When we had a recurrence is when we realized why Dr Nick was busy, she has been spending all day with patients who are fighting for their lives. Dr Nick has been an incredible partner and has laughed and cried with us through all of it. We can't say enough about her incredible attention to detail; her willingness to go to bat for us with work, insurance, other doctors, and when she feels like our care is not up to her incredibly high standards through the hospital staff or something else. If you're looking for someone who gives you the warm and fuzzies on day 1, go somewhere else. If you're looking for the best Dr to have when the rubber meets the road, Dr Nick is the clear choice.
