I went in to his office unable to walk. Herniated L4 L5 S1. In the fetal position.. he was quick to say that surgery was my only option. he did a lumbar laminectomy. Never beat around the bush. I walked to my vehicle after the surgery... Walked. I was unable to walk for 3 weeks. Very long weeks. He and his team completely changed my life and I am so grateful for his knowledge and expertise. I recommend him to anyone with back problems.

I could say all this in 4 words: He Fixed My Back!! Amazing... For 33+ years, every Sunday I boarded a plane and flew to wherever my current project/client took me in the continental United States or Canada. This obviously caused a lot of strain on my back, neck and shoulders, and my situation deteriorated rapidly after Covid-19 eliminated my job and travel. My remedy came about from an unfortunate accident that severely injured my mother-in-law; Doctor Abtahi performed a minor miracle in fixing her up, and she highly recommended him to me. Got to admit I was very nervous about this one: I've had 9 previous surgeries on various part of my body, but this one spooked me. Now, 20+ weeks after the surgery, my chronic back pain has virtually disappeared & I feel fantastic. Can't thank Dr. Abtahi enough for fixing me up, but I will here. Thank you!

Doctor Abtahi, is the best doctor that you could possibly God in your lifetime. He help me from my neck childhood injury and I was almost paralyze if he didn’t help me. He perform magnificent urgent surgery on my neck C1 and C2, I am very thankful to him and God and always pray for him and God will bless him to help and save more other people that needs to be help like me. Dr. Abtahi is a warm, caring, confident doctor with a wonderful way of making you feel cared for from the moment you meet him. He takes his time to explain things to ensure you understand. My husband and I liked him from the start, and I would highly recommend him to anyone with spine problems who needs help. He is a treasure!

I went to Dr Abtahi for a cyst in my lower back that I was told was to large to drain and needed poss removal. Dr Abtahi told me I could go back to Montrose and have shots in my back for pain and said the cyst was 4mm when the radiologist said it was 11mm? I called the office in Durango and asked to speak to someone with my questions. It took the nurse 2 weeks to call me back and then did not answer my ?'s The Dr called me 3 weeks later and still did not answer ?'s. Went to another Doctor in GJ
