If your thanking of having the bags under your eyes removed. Docter Andrew Harrison is the docter to go to. He did my eye surgery a year a go. Vary little down time vary little bruising. It took 5 years off of me . He is a great surgeon
I recently received a Blepharoplasty from Dr. Harrison and am thrilled with the results. He is highly skilled medically, and has a really good eye for the esthetics. I very highly recommend him.
Dr. Harrison performed a blepharoplasty on both of my upper eyelids at Centennial Lakes Surgery Center in Edina. My droopy eyelids were in my line of sight so that I felt distracted by them, especially while looking over my shoulder when driving. They also felt "heavy" and caused me to raise my eyebrows and forehead excessively, which in turn, caused headaches and eye strain. My experience from the initial appointment pre-surgery to my final recheck appointment couldn't have gone better. Everyone was professional, caring, responsive, and proficient yet thorough. I knew exactly what to expect, followed the clear post-operative directions, recovered easily, and the surgery was a success! I'm so glad that my ophthalmologist referred me to Dr. Harrison.
Dr Harrison worked on my droopy eyelids and now i they look and feel worst than before. He was abrupt rude and has terrible bedside manner. He has other partners in his group that are much more caring. I ended up switching care to one of his colleagues and he was wonderful!
My Optometrist told me I had to have my eyelids lifted as my vison was impaired, Naturally, being 60 and having old lady eyes, I was excited to be able to see normally again, and also see my eyes, and get rid of that horrible creapy skin. My Optometrist highly recommend Dr Harrison, whom he told me was the BEST in MN, and that when he has his lid surgery, he would be having Dr Harrison do his. OK>> That was what I wanted to hear. Excited YES, Scared to Death, YES.. I have the white coat syndrome, I'm scared of ANYTHING medical, especially if they're going to put you "under". It took me nearly a year after my initial consultation with Dr Harrison to make the surgery appt and do it. Inital consultation was clear and Dr Harrison answered my questions, my biggest concern was because I have deep set eyes, I just didn't want to end up with eyes that didn't look like my own. He assured me that would NOT happen. Day of surgery, Dr Harrison came in to talk to me beforehand, and I told him I was scared to death, he reassured me everything would be fine.. and I gotta say, he does have a great personality, and he put me right as ease... Until I walked into the OR, and they told me to hop up onto the table and lay my head on the pillow, I actually was looking for the exit, ready to bolt, and I couldn't help but start to cry and told them how scared I was... Everyone in the room was so nice and understanding, they smiled and said it would be allright and in 15 secs I would be the happiest person in the room...OK, seriously don't remember laying down, and 20 mins later they were calling my name to open my eyes, that it was all over and all went perfectly. I think I told everyone in the room that I loved them lol. Absolutely NO pain, took 1 pain pill before I left the hosp and the following day, they called to see how I was doing. I had absolutley NO bruising whatsoever!!!, I thought that I was going to look like I went thru the windsheild of the car, but I was so surprised, all I had was the stitch line on my lids. Went back to work the following week, could have gone sooner, but I only work 2 days a week, Everyone was shocked to see how GREAT I looked even WITH the stitches!. 11 days later I went back to see Dr Harrison for my first check up... Everything was great, and my eyes looked GREAT!. Today, I went back for my last followup visit, and my eyes look FABULOUS!!, I would HIGHLY recommend Dr Harrison for this procedure, and I WILL eventually be going back for a little under eye pick me up one of these days :). I am absolutley THRILLED with my results! I saw Dr Harrison at his Edina office and had my surgery at Fairview Southdale Hosp. The staff at both places were extremely thoughtful, caring and professional!! Thank You Dr Harrison for giving me my full eyesight back and for the bonus of having pretty eyes again :). Sandy H
My experience with Dr Andrew Harrison and his staff has been EXCELLENT! I had under eye bags that made me look tired and older. I am 70 years young, and work in the cosmetic industry and want to work for a few more years. Thanks to Dr. Harrison, I feel I can. Dr. Harrison is professional, has a great personality, and takes time with you and any questions you have. When someone is working close to your eyes, you want them to be caring. The work he did was fabulous, I was back at work in a week, and looked good. If your thinking of having this procedure done, Dr. Harrison is the best. Suzanne Udeen
Best experience I've ever had with a surgical procedure ever. Very personable and engaged. I wouldn't see another physician for eye lid surgery.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
