I saw Dr. Meluch on two occasions. The first visit was fine. The second visit I was really disappointed with his bedside manner. I had cancelled a followup appointment with him because my hematologic issue had resolved but he was very antagonistic about this. I am not sure why he took that so personally but the way that he behaved towards me was extremely confrontational and unprofessional. He felt it was so important for me to followup yet on the other hand when he looked at my labs when I finally did reschedule my appointment he said These all look normal Im not sure why you are here. He cant have it both ways. I am a medical professional and would never treat a patient the way that Dr. Meluch treated me. I think with improvement in bedside manner and professionalism he has the potential to become a much better physician.

I was treated by Dr. Meluch for kidney cancer. He was kind caring and very knowledgeable. Most of all he is one of the finest human beings I have come across in my 22 year battle to survive. When he found out how far I was traveling each week in order to particapte in a clinical trial that he was conducting he actually offered a spare bedroom in his home for my biweekly visits. What oncologist does that? The few complaints seem fairly petty to me. Id recommend this good man to anyone

I agree with the other negative review posted here. Dr. Meluch schedules unnecessary followup visits that could easily by handled by a simple lab check by a primary care physician. His bedside manner is suboptimal and could use a lot of improvement. He made me uncomfortable during my last visit and I would prefer to see a different physician next time. Similar to the previous negative comment I agree that he does not adequately review the chart before coming into the room.

He tells you what your problems are in a kind and caring way. There is no telling where I would be without his care. You can not leave Dr. Meluch without feeling like you just met the answer to your prayers knowing exactly where you stand. It would be difficult to not love him.

The wait time at his office is always hours he never remembers your case he makes you come back for unnecessary follow ups and his staff does not send records as they are supposed to.
