Very thorough and friendly!

I recently visited Dr.Jina Scherer for my yearly visit. It's always great to visit the office. I've had a NuSound hearing aid for about 4 1/2 years. First, she did a hearing test on me. This test is not a test where you raise your hand for 10 different sounds, get a hearing aid and be on your way. No, her tests last several hours and are kind of intense. She clearly explains her process and you realize she knows what she is talking about. And she wants the best for you. She truly cares. She then wanted me to try the Oticon Intent hearing aid and explained its benefits. This hearing aid is on a whole different level. It allows me to hear with more clarity. At the end of the day, I don't even feel like I was wearing a hearing aid. It was like a part of me. And it comes with a very simple to use app. The other reason Dr. Scherer office is great to visit is the present of her very qualified assistant Jennifer Harris. I'm sure Dr. Scherer realizes she's very fortunate to have her.

I would like to preface a few things before my review: I am a grandchild of a patient here, and in no way am I an expert. Meeting Dr. Jina and her staff was such a pleasant experience that I recommend anybody living in or around the Nashville area come see her if they require hearing aids. You can tell they genuinely enjoy the work they do, and they're so helpful and kind to every patient. They made my grandma and I feel special and I'm sure they treat every patient that way. They take their time explaining what they're doing and why, again, it's extremely helpful. Their tests, questions, and explanations are so in depth that you almost never leave with any questions. They're always kind, never condescending, and absolutely hilarious. They go the extra mile to make you feel informed and included. Thank you so much!

Scam,I returned 2 Atom pros.they fell out of my ears because the tip is too big will not fit tight.I sent them back immediately,now I am getting no answer to my refund,do not buy from this company.

Dr. Jina is amazing!!! She is very dedicated to her patients and treats them all like family. My hearing is 100 percent better now. I would highly recommend Dr. Jina for any hearing problems you might have.

Just a heads up if you are trying to get in ear molds. I was informed they weren't doing them right now. This may save you some time in your search.

Dr. Jina did a phenomenal job testing my hearing and setting me up with hearing aids. I’ve been resistant to them my whole life but with her care and guidance she found a set that work extremely well for me and I no longer have any issues with my hearing. Cannot recommend her enough!!

A friend recently told me I needed to see someone about my hearing, and gave me the name of this audiologist, who I just saw yesterday. Her name is Jina Sherer. THIS WOMAN HAS DONE HER HOMEWORK. Jina Scherer owns and operates Audiology Associates & Hearing Aids Today on 99 White Bridge Rd. The service is covered by Medicare, but the aids themselves are not covered by insurance, but she told me that even insurance for aids these days is brokered out and they take the cheapest ones to cover, which only makes you frustrated because you are not getting the aids built with cutting edge technology that distinguish them from the nightmare stories your mother always shared about hers. She just sat there with me for awhile, talking to me and getting to know me. Her attention was 100% on me!! Then she changed my whole opinion of hearing aids, (which I secretly resist with a vengeance.) She is in her 40s, and wears them, but you can’t tell!! She taught me that we don’t hear with our ears, but with our BRAINS!!! So now I think of them as BRAIN AIDS, not hearing aids! For me somehow, that feels less stigmatizing, like I’m working to improve my brain (but it secretly helps your ears hear better, too!) She gave me this book about how brain studies are focusing on the new buzz-word COGNITIVE DECLINE!! Wow, as a meditator, this was all just coming together so beautifully for me, because my friend suggested that I work on cognitive decline also!! A lot has changed in medicine!! She gave me a battery of tests, including one on brain processing. This was perhaps one of the most exciting and hopeful of all the things I’ve learned!! She printed out a sheet that showed me what my attention level was, my memory, my brain speed, intelligence, etc. And she even shared an app that will get me started on working towards that goal! The good news is, I don’t have to have hearing aids now. But I will. I’m just so glad I went today to re-set how I think about this form of self-care. And who to go to when I’m ready! This woman has an answer for everything, and shockingly, one that I totally agreed with. She literally changed my mind about the whole idea of wearing hearing aids and the reasons behind having GOOD ones. She’s very curious, which is the mind of a great researcher; If you mention something that she doesn’t know about, she'll write it down so she can look it up! She shares her resources freely. Best of all, she exhibits faith; faith in herself, and faith in you. We need a whole lot more of that these days. Di Brevard

I hear so much better with my new hearing aides and with so much better clarity. I can even now hear and understand even soft spoken children. It is like night and day compared to my old hearing aides! I couldn’t be happier! The doctor made the whole process a wonderful experience and the customer service is exceptional. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. From the moment I walked in the door, the doctor and staff couldn’t be nicer. They sincerely care about you and your hearing.
