With covid very much still happening and nationwide medical staffing shortages, visitation and recovery protocols are obviously different these days (for those complaining). Understanding that, my surgery was great, nurses and anesthetists were very kind, and the surgeon did a great job. Very pleased with the progress of my hand surgery as I'm already gaining some mobility back.

VERY disappointed with RECOVERY team! I wasn't taken to the back to recovery when my daughter, a minor, was there. I was told I would be brought back, and I asked 3 different times after speaking with the doctor after surgery. I was giving the run around for over 1hr. Very disappointed & sad because I wanted to be there and she wanted me there!! Everyone else did great!

I was not able to go back with my husband prior to his surgery. No one notified me when his surgery started. I had absolutely NO updates throughout. Very unprofessional, especially when dealing with the health and well being of a loved one. I have no idea the process of when I'll be notified when he's done, I was not able to speak to the physician prior to the surgery. It's all such a complete mess and the lack of communication has made me uneasy. I was however notified I would NOT be able to see himMom recovery and they would get him out of here as soon as humanly possible. That makes one feel good. Avoid this place.

I had a back procedure Sept. 28. There was very little waiting time after I filled out paperwork. All the nurses were professional, sweet, and they all seem to love their job. The Dr. was also great. He thoroughly explained the procedure and let me voice my concerns and ask questions before we proceeded. I would go back to this surgery center again.

I would like to thank the staff at Baptist Surgery center. From the front desk to the recovery room and including Dr. Todd. You guys were awesome and provided top notch service. I was there for multiple treatments and each and every visit I received nothing less than friendly and caring service. With Covid 19 still lingering, they took the necessary precautions to make me feel comfortable. Once again, Thank you all!!!

I had an outpatient surgery schedule here. Due to the pandemic I was wanting to limit my exposure to as many individuals as possible. I rightfully had questions about who I would be exposed to. Being nervous about the procedure as it was, I had questions in regards to the process that would occur so I could be prepared mentally. I was meet with zero compassion and empathy from the individual I spoke to. They then cancelled my appointment and did not provide a reason for as to why. This is not a place that provides a partnership with your care and they do not want to answer questions or address concerns that you have about having a procedure done.
