I don’t think I’ve ever given anyone or anything a 1 star review. My mother was in the hospital for months due to multiple strokes/high bp. She ended up having to have a feeding tube and trach because she could no longer swallow. She made great progress and was sent home with the smallest size trach and a speaking valve. She was doing tremendous at home! Was home for 1 week exactly and went to her follow up appointment with Dr. Barrett. (Mind you, no one has seen her this entire week, just family taking care of her). The doctor asked if she had been managing her secretions well, coughing them up etc. My sister who had been caring for her told him she was only getting them to come out of the trach, not her mouth. There were no swallow tests conducted, no further questions, examinations. He removed her trach. The next morning she could barely breathe and had to be rushed to the ER where they transported her back to the hospital (Skyline) and determined she had aspirated and had to be intubated. This doctor should not have removed her trach,m. Point. Blank. Period. He did not assess her enough or know/pay attention to her history and he caused this horrible set back and downward spiral. If he had left her trach in, this all would have been avoided.

I was diagnosed with sarcoidosis in 2009. I came to Dr. Connor in 2017, that was the best decision I ever made was to change doctors. Dr. Connor takes the time to ensure i am aware of everything going on with my lungs, he does not rush, he makes sure everything is understood at each visit. This is a Doctor who truly cares. He is accessible and he is truly an expert in his field. Dr. Connor gives you hope because he understands the difficulties a person is going through with Sarcoidosis.
