I have been very fortunate to have had Dr. Olafsson as my Cardiologist. He has treated me for several years. He has done three cardiac caths on me and followed up on other cardiac problems I had . He always was very caring, compassionate, understanding & very knowledgeable. I have trusted him completely with my health. I wish him the very best in his retirement. St. Thomas will lose a very special Dr. I will miss him terribly. He is the Best.

There are no words to express the care and trust Dr Olafsson has given my husband and the love and concern he shows both of us! We are sad about his retirement but glad he has some well deserved time ahead! He has become like family to us and with God’s help has saved my husband more than once for which we are so thankful! God’s blessings on him as he retires! Also his nurses and staff go beyond to help us every time we come- we have been so blessed to be at this hospital with this doctor and his staff! Dr. Olafsson literally saved my life in August, 2019. I had 2 episodes of minimal shortness of breath. When I saw him, he immediately ordered sone screening tests that indicated I needed a Heart Cath. The procedure was set up 5 days later. He found 4 blockages and told me I was not leaving the hospital! I had a Quadruple Bypass and have had Great follow up visits for the past 3 years!! He is a pleasure to talk to because he not only listens, but is so professional and educational!!

I am always treated with respect. Appointments are kept in a timely manner. All staff is polite and helpful. Dr. Olafsson takes time with me and answers all my questions. Very thorough and caring.

Dr. Olafsson saved my husband's life after a heart attack 11 years ago. We both connected with him immediately with his caring demeanor & professional skills. His nurse is terrific & we enjoy seeing this great cardiologist for checkups...pleasant & organized office ambience.
