Centerstone's Online Review Report Card

I have been trying to get an appointment with a Centerstone location since the end of October. Had my initial intake call, all insurance benefits were discussed, and was informed that I would receive a call to set up my appointment. Weeks go by, and no call. I called them back, and was told the proper person would contact me. An appointment was then set up for the first week of December. Someone even contacted me the night before to verify things. During this call, I had once again reminded them of my insurance benefits, and that this would be covered under an EAP accepted provider through my employer. The morning of my appointment arrives, and I am contacted 1 hour beforehand, by the therapist, who informs me that she is not EAP approved. I am then forced to cancel that appointment, as I am currently furloughed, and couldn't afford the out of pocket fee. During a later call I was told I would be on a wait list. I missed the scheduling call on December 28th. I have since called this woman back about 4 times, and it always goes to voicemail. VERY disappointed that a mental health facility would be so disorganized. I can't imagine anyone needing more emergent and immediate assistance and going through this.

I had Hilary and had the worst experience I have ever had. She called my PCP on the 3rd request and then lied about it saying she never spoke to my PCP. She also lied about not changing any meds when she had added Buspar. Terrible provider! Dr. Batson is no better. She holds meds if you don't do as she requests, which is illegal. Hope they enjoy the audit.

I absolutely love the counselor/therapist that I see, Beverly! She takes the time to listen to me, she questions me thoroughly and then provides great feedback and is just a joy to see. As ex military with PTSD and depression, I sometimes never want to do anything and Beverly is always there for me. Beverly is why I continue my treatment. She's like a big sister and is always looking out for my best interests. I highly recommend Centerstone because of staff members like Beverly.

If you actually need help, stay far away from here. I was actually an inpatient resident elsewhere for a week for severe depression and they referred me to here. I need help. I want help. I have a family who depends on me. However, if you trust this place the following can and probably will happen. 1: Takes several weeks to get in for your intake appt. 2. Your counselor may take an indefinite leave of absence without a word. 3. When asked who your next counselor can be you won't hear from them for several weeks regardless if you call the weekly. 4. If you ask to transfer locations you won't hear from them for weeks regardless if you call them weekly. 5. They will change your appt time without notice. You can arrive at 8 am and they still won't tell you your appt changed to 11 am until you ask why you keep getting skipped.
