Now I know why the reviews are horrendous on Yelp. I currently have an infected open wound on my sternum that had to be cut into on a Thursday morning at 9:30AM and was reassured by the dermatologist that I would be prescribed an antibiotic ointment. Yet, it is now 7:30pm on Friday, over 24 hours after my chest was cut into with a scalpel, and my prescription was never sent. I called the office THREE TIMES after my appointment to follow up and kept reiterating to the receptionist and the nurse what the antibiotic ointment was for but they kept mixing it up with a completely different prescription needed for a completely different issue. Surely, medical professionals should know the difference between DROPS used for one’s scalp and antibiotic OINTMENT needed for a topical infection but I guess the staff here does not. I am in so much pain and just hoping that I do not end up having to go to urgent care or the ER before their office reopens on Monday morning when I will now have to drive there because my phone calls are not being comprehensively listened to. In the event that I need additional, more costly medical care due to their negligence, I will absolutely be taking legal action.
