Dr Morgan is direct and to the point. He is very personable. I would not be alive today. If it were not for him and my liver doctor I owe my life and gratitude to him. I consider him a friend more then a doctor Thank Hod for Dr Morgan

I love a doctor with an upbeat, positive attitude, who understands that this patient believes in the magical power of faith, laughter and a purposeful life. Its great to have a doctor who also loves to laugh! I believe that together we can "win" this battle! Cheers to Dr. Morgan!

The only reason I gave one star was so I could write a review. HORRIBLE doctor. My first couple of months went well and my lymphoma was controlled after immunotherapy. However, within two months, two large knots appeared on either side of my head above the ear line. I immediately went to see Dr. Morgan and he suggested I see a dermatologist and prescribed antibiotics. Completed antibotics and knots were still there. I emailed this info and his nurse practitioner replied, “so glad knots are gone”. I emailed back and asked her to reread my previous email. Finally agreed to a biopsy just to satisfy me AND asked, “Do you think you would benefit from counseling?”. I went from March 2017 to September 2017 getting sicker and sicker. My GP admitted me to the hospital in September because I was so sick (thank God for her). However, on 09/28/17, the day after my temp went to 103.9 and was told there was a significant increase in lymphoma activity since July, I was discharged without ever seeing Dr. Morgan or anyone from his department and told to keep my 10/27/17 appointment with him. While waiting to be discharged, I emailed MD Anderson in Houston and got an earlier appointment. On 10/16/17, I saw Dr. Nathan Fowler in Houston. He immediately admitted me to intensive care where I received three units of blood and was in the hospital for five days. My spleen was twice the size it was supposed to be with many more issues. Thank GOD for Dr. Fowler and MD Anderson. They saved my life ... no thanks to Dr. Morgan. After six months of treatments in Houston, the lymphoma is controlled and I’m back to normal. Keep in mind there are financial programs at MD Anderson to help those that can’t afford flights, hotels, etc. email or call and you will hear back within a couple of hours.I’m sure there are good oncologists at Vanderbilt but David Morgan isn’t one of them.
