Terrible bedside manner. Not educated enough to be a specialist in the Rheumatology field. Misdiagnosis seems to be her specialty. I got worse under her care despite my insistance the Lupus was getting progressively worse. She's a complete QUACK who will treat you terribly and not listen to you. See her at your own risk.

Dr. Kroop is a very caring and compassionate doctor. She is always concered about the issues I am having as well as any new questions I have. She is always on time fir my appointment anď takes her time during my appointment. I couldn't ask for a better rheumatologist than her.

Dr. Kroop has seen my (adult) son on an inpatient basis for 3 years. She is dismissive and condescending in tone and demeanor. Possibly because there is no official diagnosis, she seems to consider him a malingerer. His condition presents like bacterial meningitis, but it isn't. He has been hospitalized 8 times, twice in ICU, yet she minimizes our concerns. She dislikes questions and lacks any hint of empathy. He feels worse after every visit from her. Her partners are great so we stay.

This woman hoes by her opinion only. The first time I went to her over my symptoms she dismissed it as I was overweight. When I was referred by my ophthalmologist that she had seen auto immune, she dismissed her findings and said she didn't know wby she sentr there that j didn't have anything. When you have immune disease it doesn't show up in blood test usually and when she emaef she Told me as she thought I had no auto immune disesse I finally got a lip biopsy per another doctor and tested positive for Sjögren's syndrome. She needs to go back to medical school or retire'

I am a new patient with Dr. Susan Kroop, and my appointment with her was one of the best I've had anywhere. I felt at ease when she entered the exam room, because although her knowledge & professionalism was obvious, she presented an energy that was kind, caring, and positive. I left her office with confidence that I can cope with my health condition.
