Dr Moses performed a few of the neurological functioning tests on me. Asked how I’m feeling since I switched to Ocrevus. Let me know how important it is to not be in a crowd because his patient had died over the summer and the death was preventable. I started to talk about my bowel issues and how disruptive they were starting to become. This isn’t a subject that I want to talk about and it took some courage to talk about it with him. I’m also dealing with significant pain but he has decided that it has nothing to do with MS so he refuses to help. The pain is a result of being in a wheelchair and I was under the impression that MS demyelination had taken my balance, coordination and, ability to control my movements but that must not true. Back to my bowels, as I was trying to tell him what was happening, Dr Moses stood up and walked out of the room. I was still talking but I guess it wasn’t important for him to know about. I was also told that MS is a neurodegenerative disease th
First visit, he spent a lot of time with us. He was very understanding and explained in detail. Very compassionate
Dr. Moses listens to concerns and makes appropriate recommendations, taking actions as needed. He is honest, knowledgeable, punctual (never had to wait over 5 minutes for my appointment) and well respected with other neurologists in the MS/NMOSD field.
Dr. Moses is amazing! He is very thorough going through your MRI with you, full of knowledge and experience, and very personable. Highly recommend!
If Dr. Moses is 58 years old, how does he have over 59 years of experience??? Dr. Harold Moses, MD is a Neurology Specialist in Nashville, TN and has over 59 years of experience in the medical field. Dr. Moses has more experience with Epilepsy than other specialists in his area. He graduated
Dr Moses thinks he is the best thing since sliced bread. He is unprofessional and demoralizing and has a not so subtle way of making me feel like I’m lower tan pond scum. He immediately put me on one of his therapy meds that ended up causing me to lose my job because iI couldn’t function. When i refused to take “his” therapies, he said that if I stopped taking the shots, then he would refuse to see me at all, which was fine with me. Within a month, I found another neurologist that told me that i should not have been on any therapies at all, as my condition was not at the stage where i needed them. I thank God every day that i never have to see that money hungry “quack” any more, and just because his last name is Moses, he thinks he is some kind of deity. There are many more Neurologists in and around Nashville, and if your PCP recommends Dr Moses, ask for a different one, or you will find yourself paying $2500.00 a month for meds that you may not need.
My husband comes for a yearly check-up and has been waiting for this appointment. We're disappointed to find out they don't except self pay patient's any longer. They never bothered to call us to tell us. We called to confirm the appointment and was told after waiting for his yearly appointment. Dr. Moses's is a great doctor, but we're disappointed in how this was handled.
I have been seeing Dr. Moses for almost 10 years. I find he listens well and is easy to talk to. when i ask questions he give me straight answers. the staff is helpful. I use MyHealthatVanderbilt.com to contact him between appointments. Sometimes it takes a day or so to get an answer but if i need an answer sooner I can call the office. A nurse calls back the same day usually. The only issue is scheduling an appointment over the phone, it takes a lot of time on hold.
I love Dr Mose! He is good at his job!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
