List of Heritage Medical Associates Neurology's Reviews
We came in for an ex-ray this morning. I had read about a rude staff and other various negative comments. We found the staff to be friendly, giving instruction to patients in a kind way. They also would say positive things to family in an intentional way. The ex-ray staff was also helpful and courteous.
I was a patient here for 20 years. Finally left due to rude staff at Dr. Murff’s office. Do your self a favor and find a practice that cares about their patients. You’re just a number here.
Impossible to get someone on the phone to ask general questions. Staff is rude. Avoid.
The A B S O L U T E Worst! They don't honor their appointments and say sorry, you should have been notified of the cancellation. Having re-arranged my work time-off, when that happens with N O notification, that's not the way to treat patients. Once is understandable, twice is very inconsiderate and indicates a lack of basic customer service.
The Gyn dept in Brentwood is horrible. The doctors are very good but the staff is rude and very disrespectful to the patients. I was very shocked because I use other dept in the heritage medical and they are all fantastic.
Staff experience was awful. Never got to see Dr Rodney Lewis although I feel my 88 year old mother dodged a bullet due to his staff being so rude, void of empathy, compassion and zero customer service skills. If Dr Rodney Lewis' staff is any indication of the care my mom would receive then him and Heritage need to do better!
Apparently you, not Heritage Medical are responsible for knowing you insurance is out of network. I went through my prep and drove two hours to get here only to find out that I would be charged $1,200 for the colonoscopy procedure that I thought the affordable care act covered but apparently not at Heritage. it is very unprofessional to tell someone who has already done the day of prep they are out of network. That information should have been covered long before now. Oh and per Medicare.gov "If your doctor or other health care provider accepts assignment, you pay nothing for the screening test(s). However, if your doctor finds and removes a polyp or other tissue during the colonoscopy, you pay 15% of the Medicare-Approved Amount for your doctors' services. In a hospital outpatient setting or ambulatory surgical center, you also pay the facility a 15% coinsurance amount. The Part B deductible doesn't apply. ". Why would I be paying $1,200?
So it's quite ironic, when the doctor appointment is at a set time and you're supposed to be here for that time scheduled and then they are running quite late but the girl sitting behind the counter didn't have the compassion to let the patient know that they're running behind schedule. Now this is nothing to do with the doctors and nurses that worked tirelessly to assist and help patients and Dr Huber is a phenomenal Doctor and my procedure went well back in February. However, when you're dealing with the public, the best advice I could give you is to show a little compassion to show compassion with a smile and lose the attitude. I didn't get her name, but one of them was just downright rude
After 6 calls in an attempt to make a new patient appointment, I was able to get through to one live human who transferred me to a voicemail. All five other attempts sent me straight to voicemails. Of the six voicemails that I left, not a single one was answered. Not once did I receive a callback.
Heritage Medical represents everything wrong with the medical industry today. Takes forever to schedule and see anyone. After multiple visits for several different issues I've walked away from 2 different doctors that are completely useless. I think I've got a total of 6 different doctor visits between a PCP: Dr. Casey and a Gastro: Dr. McMillen. I went into my physical with several lifestyle related questions because I didn't feel healthy. The physical comes back 100% healthy, he literally couldn't answer any of my questions (related to supplements, caffeine usage and sleep issues). The only advice given in the whole visit was: You should take the Covid vaccine. A perfectly health guy in his early 30's should take the Covid vaccine. The guy was clearly only interested in moving on to the next patient and seeing if he could get another Covid vaccine kickback. Then I started having a stomach issue. After weeks of calling different Gastros in the area, I finally found one that would see me a few weeks out. After a few office visits, an ultrasound, and an endoscopy, we have found NOTHING. Then weeks later I receive multiple over inflated bills for the procedures. No one mentioned how much these would cost. There was no Good Faith Estimate. There was nobody in the entire process that would say "hey we can do this procedure to see what is going on... but it will cost $1,000". Several visits, thousands of dollars to this office and around 5 months for... nothing. Heritage Medical is an unethical shit stain on society. Avoid at all costs.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
