The office ambiance is a sanctuary of tranquility - safe, quiet, and oh-so-comfortable. The straight-to-the-point acupuncture paired with expert massage and cupping had me floating on a cloud of relaxation. Not only did the session address my immediate concerns, but Dr. Kim also shared insights on future treatments and recommended vitamins tailored to my needs. Sung is the best acupuncturist I have ever been to! His knowledge and skilled methodology has helped so much. I was in excruciating pain with nerves from my neck to my hand. My hand was going totally numb at night and felt like glass was cutting it. After ONE treatment the severe pain was gone and the numbness left after a couple of days. He is such a nice Doctor and I have found my healer! Highly recommend!!!

I got a recommendation from a friend who had high praise about Susan's herbal treatments for hot flashes. She raved about both Sung and Susan so I decided to try. I've been a patient of Sung's for 7+ years. My initial reason for going was for chronic overuse injuries which later turned into advice for gut health, weight management and more. I was a habitual user of anti-inflammatories daily and after seeing Sung, started taking a natural anti-inflammatory along with acupuncture. I haven't taken a tylenol or advil in years since then. I currently do telehealth now for gut health since they moved from CA to TN. I'm bummed that they're no longer close by, but excited for their new journey. TN you have a gem in these two and their fur baby Ollie is an added bonus!

I had a great session with Sung. As an acupuncture practitioner myself, I can tell who is skilled and who is not. I was impressed by Sung's skill and knowledge. He listened thoughtfully to my concerns during the intake, and then knew exactly how to approach my problems. He described clearly what he was doing at every step and his hands moved confidently and expertly during the treatment. I feel better today after the treatment. I have already booked my next appointment with him. I would recommend that you do the same.

I was so sad when Sung told me he and Susan (and Ollie) were moving away. Selfishly, because he is so good at what he does, but also because he is a such good person. A friend was seeing him many years back and when I developed tennis elbow playing golf she suggested I see him. After a few visits the pain went away and I was playing golf again. I didn't "need" to see him any longer. But then I starting thinking about chronic issues I had for as long as I could remember, so I asked him if he could help. So for the next visits he worked on my always clogged sinuses. He was able to help them drain which enabled me to breathe better and sleep more soundly. wow! Then I asked him the bigger question, can you help me get off the two medications, the two inhalers and the two now sprays I had been taking for more years than I could remember. It was a slow go but we were persistent. It took about a year but I got off all my medications. My doctor was so happy as was I. I learned so much from Sung, most importantly, how much gut health effected the rest of your body. If you are so lucky to go see him, I envy you.

I have been a patient of Sung's for 11 years. I trust Sung implicitly with my health. He listens, is compassionate and very knowledgeable. He has treated me for shingles, sinus infections, bronchitis and asthma using acupuncture and herbs with success. Sung takes the time to explain things well and is happy to answer my questions. Probably like most professionals, I am quite picky with regard to whom I consult regarding any medical treatment. A couple of years ago I had a significant amount of ongoing pain in my lower back and Dr. Frank Ly was a great help to me and I rarely have any difficulty with my back unless I do something foolish.
