Cancer patient here (Ugh!!!). Dr Hendrix surgically implanted a port in my chest (literally 4 hours ago). Prior to surgery, he & I chatted about what exactly was going to happen. When I am nervous, I talk...kind of ALOT. This can be irritating to some but not Dr. Hendrix. He rolled with it and never once did he act like I was a burden or that he had better things to do than to listen to me. Do not let his youthful countenance fool you. He is whip smart, kind, funny, honest and if, God forbid, you've been diagnosed with cancer and your life is on the line, he is the doctor (along with his outstanding teammates: Dr Lazar and Dr Rickman) that you want on your Healthcare team. I don't generally post reviews but because of the outstanding skilled, state of the art, compassionate care that I've received from Dr Hendrix, Dr Lazar and Dr. Rickman, I felt a review was necessary because people need to know where to go for help when they've been told that they may have cancer.
