John Overholt Md's Online Review Report Card

My experience at the Franklin location and with Dr Overholt and his nurse was terrible. This experience was by far the worst that I have ever had in my life. He didn't do what we asked and insisted on doing something that wouldn't help my child. He was extremely rude to me, rolled his eyes and his staff was terrible as well. I will never go back to this location and maybe not even to this allergy clinic at all again. I will definitely be finding another place for my child to get treatment for her food allergies. I Do not recommend this doctor or the clinic.

This doctor is absolutely terrible! Took my son in March for frequent episodes of hives and facial swelling. He did not touch him, immediately diagnosed him in less than 60 seconds with chronic hives due to having autoimmune dz (type 1 diabetes and hypothyroid). Recommended Zyrtec or Claritin. Literally less than 5 minutes was spent. If you are seeking a REAL diagnosis and treatment I do NOT recommend Dr. John Overholt.

This office is great. Really helped me with my allergies

Not thorough at all, barely explained any of the test results or took time to answer questions. Office did not follow up to schedule follow up visits after positive allergy test results. Did not offer additional testing after initial test results to test for foods in same families that showed positive allergies. Would not recommend or go back ever.

Didn't treated the issue I had nor followed up. Did unnecessary test and sending me the bill of $900. I will not recommend. I will never go back again.

We tried getting allergy shots at the Franklin location but found the staff in the shot clinic to be very insensitive towards our child who was experiencing high sensitivity and discomfort from the shots. In addition to that, they opened late and closed early on several occasions. We ended up going to a different office in the Franklin area and have had a significantly better experience.

Have been going to Dr Overholt for a year. The whole staff has always been great and always asked me how I was feeling after I was in the hospital. My allergies are so much better now.

How can anyone rate this Doctor's facility with a star rating...After having a skin test for allergy at his office that showed no food allergy he decided to do a blood test and have it sent to Quest Diagnostics..Now he wants to charge me over $500 dollars for the skin test and again I am to pay Quest Diagnostics over $2000 for the same test he gave me in his office.. Some of the cost to QD is for extended testing that I was not aware of or the cost associated. Who does that to a patient. Double charge a person for the same test. It's is unheard of.

I was miserable until I started going here. Allergy shots have given me back my life. Can't recommend this practice enough
