Dr Jonathan Becker is hands down the best psychiatrist you could ever hope to meet. He’s kind, listens, intelligent/sharp as a whip, and the thinks outside of the box. The old ways of fundamental mental health treatment that are still in circulation need to fade to black. In my opinion he is the best that has happened to mental health as a whole. Anyone would be a fool to not work with him. He truly cares about all patients. I will forever cherish Dr Becker and his team for helping me.

Dr. Becker is the best psychiatrist and I would absolutely recommend him to others. With the help of him, and counseling/therapy, I am doing better after the loss of my son. He listens and doesn’t judge you. I couldn’t ask for a better doctor during this extremely difficult time in my life. 10/10 would recommend.

Please stay away from this hospital and Dr Becker who runs the clinic. Not only were they unable to diagnose a simple anxiety problem after a divorce but they threw lots of hardcore drugs at me which created severe insomnia and worsening mood. After contacting a sleep specialist & a psychiatrist with training from Northwestern rather than, um, New Orleans, I was told that I had been grossly over medicated, given dangerous medicines that are no longer used in modern psychiatry. I lost two years to this awful clinic. Please please stay away and tell anyone you know that they are harming people at this clinic.

During my stay at Vanderbilt, he was cold, condescending, and barely spent any time talking to me. The medication he prescribed me did not help. There are other doctors at Vanderbilt that were so much kinder and showed warmth to the patients.

Dr. Becker is cold, condescending, and spent very little time talking to me. Also, added a diagnosis to my insurance without talking to me about it.

The care teams are great from the clinic staff to the physicians you couldn’t find nicer folks. The doctors communicate with each other about their patients which lets you know they care. Dr. Becker and Dr. Stovall are both calm, thorough and knowledgeable.

Dr. Becker is an excellent psychiatrist who specializes in mood disorders such as depression. I feel like he saved my life and cured me from a major depressive episode. I cannot recommend him more highly.
