Jory Simmons's Online Review Report Card

Incredibly unethical doctor. A PA that works under Dr Simmons performed a medical exam on my veteran spouse to re evaluate his disability claim for an increase in rating. This PA, Tanya Ferrell, told my spouse "it will take me longer to to log in my computer than to do your exam" which is interesting, because his initial disability exam lasted an hour and a half. She didn't do movement measurements, she put down numbers for those tests anyway. She indicated my husband had no imaging reports or surgical history for his issue-which he does, and had with him. She fraudulently filled out his medical record and cost him 30% of a 40 % rating because she was lazy and fraudulent. Dr Simmons has said done nothing but cover for Ms Ferrell. He tried to diagnose my husband over the phone, which is a failure at the standard of care. He said that Ms Ferrell not taking measurements for range of motion were fine and writing down values she fabricated were fine because she saw my husband and could guess. This is grossly negligent. He made a comment that my husband is treated more for his heart condition than his back, a form of shaming him, which obviously he's seen more for his heart, he had a deadly defect that nearly killed him. He asked why my husband wasn't on narcotics, as if that negated the seriousness of the condition, and when my husband replied that he isn't comfortable with the addictive nature of narcotics, he was snide. He said it was fine for a doctor to put fraudulent measurements, not run tests, ignore surgical and imaging history, and finr state out loud that "it's going to take long for me to log in than to evaluate you" , which is a disrespectful and stated intent to perform an exam that doesn't meet the standard of care. He was rude and only interested in covering for his employee, Tanya Ferrell, who for reasons yet undiscovered felt the need to be lazy and fraudulent in her exam and deprive an injured combat veteran (who broke his back in airborne school, has steel discs in his back) of the compensation he'd already been given by a competent examiner, and also endangered his education throu vocational rehab. Neither of these providers should have licenses, and if you're assigned either of them as a matter, demand another one. They seem to either benefit from depriving veterans from care and /or are so lazy that commiting fraud on a medical record is just not of their concern. Don't let your disabled veteran be a victim of these two dangerous physicians.
