I started having excruciating stomach pain when finally my wonderful family doctor told me I needed to go to the emergency room. The emergency room sent me to Dr. Parker. Dr. Parker made me come in for just making an appointment for an endoscopy. After the endoscopy he says he found nothing wrong. Then I continue to have the same problem and he refuses to further test or see what’s wrong. Guess I’m going to another gastroenterologist. Very very disappointed in this doctor, for his lack of passion, to heal the sick.

I suffered with Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) for years which often caused me to choke on food and have to throw up. My prior GI doctor would schedule an upper endoscopy ever year, have me take allergy tests, request I avoid certain types of food, recommend I cut my food into smaller pieces, tell me to eat slower, and eventually made it seem like this was an inconvenience I'll just have to endure for the rest of my life. All of his recommendations were unsuccessful over a long and painful three years. Upon relocating my family to Nashville, I was determined to find the best GI doctor possible to solve this ongoing dilemma. I had one (yes one) office visit with Dr Parker who prescribed Omeprazole DR 40 MG capsules with delayed release/ daily and I've had zero acid reflux issues and no longer choke on my food. I'm baffled to know that this issue could have been managed years ago if only I had a GI doctor with the expertise to properly diagnose and treat GERD. I highly recommend Dr Parker.

My husband was having alot of stomach pain for several months...I was friends with an RN from St. Thomas and she recommended Dr. Parker. He did a colonoscopy and found my husband had ulcerative colitis. He got him straightened out and has been our doctor ever since. He always explains everything and is so kind. I have dealt with alot of doctor's staff and when we call for anything they are right ...

I was recommended here by an ER doctor in Nashville when they couldn't figure out my abdominal pain. I was recommended to have an upper scope. I went and had my scope and they found no ulcer. I asked him if he thought it could be gallbladder, because I have doctors in my family who thought it was gallbladder issues. He said no - never followed up with me on next steps, never gave me a report on my biopsy. I ended up going to family friends, turned out it was a gallbladder disease. I highly recommend you visit someone else if you have abdominal pain.

I have been a patient with Dr. Parker since 2015 and initially the experience was decent. The staff was friendly, Dr. Parker was informative, and overall it was ok. I could not receive medication until I had a colonoscopy done, which was 4 plus weeks later due to his vacation that was coming up (everyone needs a vacation, I get it). Fast forward to now, I have called their staff every day (one time it was two times in a day) for a week straight and not one call back. I was out of medicine and definitely in need of a refill which has never been a problem in the past. Not one call back. Finally I left a very expressive voicemail explaining how, as a patient in need, the doctor and his nursing staff are intentionally choosing to neglect the care that I was truly needing. Within 15 minutes I got a call back from the nurse stating that "he thought you moved to another city and figured you found another doctor there, so that's why he did not think he needed to return your calls"
