2 hours sitting in the lobby to see a doctor for 15 minutes

Very Long Wait Time Was not informed by staff that doctor was running behind and how much longer it would be. Had to go check with front desk to check on after two hours. I left without being seen when told would be another half hour plus. Did not want a rush job having laser treatment being done. Told them not returning and would seek treatment somewhere else. Do not go to Murfreesboro Office if you are expecting to be seen near your scheduled appointment time. They are well over booked.

I have been a patient of Dr. Shelton's for about 12 years. She has done cataract surgery on both of my eyes and I don't need glasses after those surgeries. I would seriously recommend Dr. Shelton to anyone. J. Hodges

Dr. Shelton is professional. And when my aunt Deaconess L. E. Mills, visited the office, the entire staff were kind, patient, and able to meet the needs of. Deaconess Mills as she struggles with kidney failure, caused by the negligence of another physiician affiliated with Riverside Hospital. We love Dr. Shelton, but physicians not only at Riverside Hospital, in the Hampton Roads area have been misdiagnosing my familys fibromyalgia, since 1945, when the Army brought us to Ft Eustis. It ends now.

This practice consistently over books appointments. During my last visit waiting patients were commiserating in the waiting room. One woman said that she had waited over two hours in the past. Another said on one visit, after she had waited one and a half hours, the staff rolled out a snack cart and provided free snacks to every waiting patient. After waiting 60 minutes I decided my time was just as important as theirs. I left and will not be returning.
