Dr. Joos is awesome! Every step of the way she has been informational caring and straight forward I love her passion and attitude about her work and the care and time she puts in her patients. I gladly travel 2+ hours for her to see my son as unfortunate as the reason is she has made it easy for us to deal with my son's diagnosis and his treatments. I am forever grateful for her she gave is hope she has given my son hope she is just awesome we love you Dr. Karen Joos!

Dr. Joos SAVED my son's eyes. He was diagnosed at 8 months with congenital glaucoma. At the time of diagnosis we were told that he would be going to a school for the blind by school age, but with the excellent skills and care that Dr. Joos gives he is now 9 yrs old and has been off eye drops since age 3. He wears glasses and still goes to about 12 appointments a year for his glaucoma. He has not needed any surgery since she operated on him in 2008. Every Dr we see always asks who did his shunts.

Dr. Joos is a very knowledgeable and skilled physician. I would recommend her to others that need professional care for their eyes. She specializes in the treatment of eye pressure.
