My parent nearly died under his direct care. A week long hospitalstay turned into months of horror! Did not thoroughly look into why my parent was deteriorating under his supervision, did not keep his word about procedures he would perform, was evasive and also stated that his “intuition” gave him the right to disregard the diagnostic screening of a specialist in a different field of medicine. With luck my parent will regain 50% of prior level of functioning and is still in a hospital months lat

Parent had surgery by this MD. While under his direct care she deteriorated to the point of near death. A hospital stay that was to end roughly by a week after the surgery, is now months plural with more procedures than can be counted on two hands and the numbers just keep growing. This man made every effort to blockade family until the issue reached the hospital CEO’s desk. At that point, the communication was over the top and a slap in the face after my parent coded. The staff found a hole where the original surgery was performed and once fixed my parent who is now at a different hospital began to recover after such a nightmare. The surgeon appeared to be indifferent, unfriendly and adversarial during the entire process. My parent can be rather difficult, and has very little, but still deserves the same care as the wealthy man down the hall who is surrounded by family!

I would and actually have entrusted my life to Dr. Kenneth Laws. He is a very kind, caring, and gifted surgeon. I could not imagine finding another surgeon that I could trust more than I do this man. His office staff is superb. The wait time is kept to a minimal yet Dr. Laws makes you feel as if he has all day to spend talking to you.
