Mark Cooper's Online Review Report Card

I had my initial consult today after being diagnosed with breast cancer. The doctor took time to explain the process. I felt seem, heard and that I was not just a case. They left me feeling that I am in great hands and will be cared for every step of the way through the process.

I came in to see Dr. Cooper from a referral from my Primary Care Doctor. Not really sure what happened, once Dr. Copper came in he began with a negative attitude saying I was the third person he had seen with my issue on this day and his tone was very unpleasant and unprofessional. Being at age 59 I have be in the presence of Dr's often and never experienced this negative demeanor. When questioned his office they say go see someone else. It is my prayer that he considers how he deals with his consumers. It is "not" what you say but how you say it. And very unethical to compare his day by grouping issues together with those he sees.

Great surgeon! That’s an old picture though. I Very gentle and a recovered well with hardly a scar. Very easy to schedule and get checked in for consultation. Surgery was at Ascension Midtown and they were fantastic! Make sure you get Ascension’s app so you can get your pathology reports very quickly.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mark Cooper for five years. I can’t say enough about what a wonderful experience my visits have been. He has a very caring approach towards his clients and his staff are great too. Any visit to a surgeon is a time of anxiety, but Dr Cooper leaves you feeling important and informed. 5+ stars

I felt comfortable from the outset. He was in no hurry, very relaxed ,answered all my questions thoroughly and with demonstrations to some. Went over all my options with pros and cons. Did not pressure me for an immediate answer. I have gotten very positive word of mouth comments about him as well. Off to a very good start.

So because the information was not a positive reflection on this physician, then it cannot be posted. There is no telling how many people he has made this surgical error. I just want to advise what happened to my daughter where it may not happen to someone else. He knows what he did. After a simple thyroidectomy, she was sent home with an O2 level of 85 and was readmitted to the hospital the following day with double aspiration pneumonia. After much investigation, it was determined that her phrenic nerve was damage during her surgery. My daughter is now TOTALLY DISABLED due to surgical trauma. One star only because there was not a ZERO star rating!

Very kind and thorough. He listened to all of my concerns and went over my plan of care with me. I was very happy with his care. Office staff were also very pleasant and made my experience positive.

Dr. Cooper is an exceptional physician. Not only is he incredibly skilled, he is truly compassionate and caring. He takes a lot of time helping you to understand all options, benefits and risks. He also provides written material on certain procedures that you can take home and read at your leisure. Keep up the great work Dr. Cooper! Middle Tennessee needs more great physicians like you!!
