I have seen Dr. Meadors 3 times for side effects related to my 1st COVID vaccine that all toll lasted almost a year. Since I am 74 years old, I got my 1st vaccine very early in February, 2021 and, of course, no one had any experience with side effects related to the COVID vaccines. He had had experience with side effects related to other vaccines, however. He is empathic, a great listener, allows enough time for your visit, very personable and you can tell he loves what he does. He embodies what a doctor should always strive to be like. If you, or those whom you know and care about, need to see a rheumatologist, you will not be disappointed seeing him related to any joint and/or muscle pain issues. I feel extremely fortunate to have been able to be his patient. And, I know he is there in the future if I should ever have any issues like I just experienced or new ones that might come up.

My first visit/consultation with Dr. Meadors may have been one of the most thorough I have ever had and I am 67 and come from a medical arts family. While there was a two month wait for the initial visit, I now see why because he allocates enough time with the patient to adequately assess their health status. Dr. Meadors is a great communicator and clearly let me know what my health status is and ordered a battery of tests that I believe will give me a much better understanding of how my arthritis is impacting my health in general. Dr Meadors is the kind of doctor everyone wants to have. He's kind, personable, and relatable. He listens and gives recommendations based on his expertise and what he feels like you, as a patient, and as a person, needs. His staff is equally as wonderful. I can easily recommend Dr. Meadors to anyone looking for a personable, involved, and straight-forward rheumatologist. He takes time to talk with - and listen to - patients, which is often not the case with too many physicians. In addition, his staff is just wonderful! Really like all the people that I interact with at the office, from the reception office, to his nurse, and the 'check-out' ladies. Now, if he just had a satellite office in Hermitage, life would be grand!! LOL
