This doctor was unfamiliar with common medications and unwilling to look them up. I will not be bringing my son back there again.

He tried to cure my PTSD and Anxiety with $35 glucose, at least 5 cups of juice a day and not even enough actual medicine to cover a 30 day span. When I told him that it wasn't working, 3 months in to this plan, he got frustrated with me and told me I wasn't doing it right. After my last appointment, with his secretary and not even him, I purposefully did not sched. another app. with him, but was billed for one anyway. My insurance provider has urged me not to see him again.

Doctor didn't say a word I went there for 2+ years and thought I was getting the right treatment, but no. all he did was write prescriptions and try to get me to buy his gaba gaba vitamins, Nurse is a total b*tch on wheels, I would go in and he would just start writing, not listening and charge $300+ for visit that's that took forever to get in and 5 minutes in there with him. The nurse would write prescriptions when he would go away to Ramadan or something, taking 40 days off several times, anyone that says Betty is nice is not correct AT ALL!

The nurse is rude and knows nothing about helping a patient with a mental health crisis. Does not take time to really find out what's wrong. Prescribes what patients thinks is best. Pushing herbal medication that he sells. Will discharge a patient without knowing mental status. Should not be practicing.

Great Dr. listened to my concerns. I felt better soon after starting the meds. I have been struggling with this for years.

I saw Dr Islam in 2013 for several months. My very last visit I asked if my husband could sit in. He agreed. I wanted my husband to witness his unprofessional manners. His lack of patient care. And he did. This went on the entire time I was his patient. He pushed his gaba whatever meds on me for anxiety. Continued to asked questions about extremely personal matters in a blunt manner. The last visit with him. Two hours later my husband had to rush me to the E.R. and they rushed to skyline campus but I was lucky and they gave me outpatient care. I don't recall 3 days after the last visit I dissociated so badly. He was a nightmare!!!

I owe a better quality of life to this physician. He not only cares for his patients, but on his own accord, he also gives much of his care to people around the world in charity.
