Nashville Family Foot Care's Online Review Report Card

I’m frustrated to feel the need to write a not great review because I had such a great experience with this place when I was living in Nashville. When I moved out of state I needed to get my inserts refinished and I have had a bad experience since then. I think the issue originates with their communication because the answering machine is VERY long and many times I would get a call and then I would call back 15 minutes later and get sent straight to voicemail. It would usually take until the next day to get a call back (I called before 3pm). Over the past 6 weeks I have exchanged over 25 calls with them so this grew frustrating. I sent in my inserts on January 3rd and they are now expected back on Feb 18th. The warehouse completed them on the 24th of January and it has been small errors like not checking the tracking number and not double checking the zip code that have caused the package to be returned to them twice. I thought that this third time they would overnight the package because of all of the issues, but it was still regularly shipped. I want to acknowledge that they have apologized a lot and have never been rude to me. Regardless, the shipping process needs to be fixed. I think that if you’re in Nashville they will do a great job, but always have them ship it to their store and pick it up in person.

Great facility and wonderful staff. Dr. Johnson was thorough and explained the procedure and follow up care very well. I highly recommend her.

07/28/24 was not a good visit. Elderly client arrived at 9:50, appt at 10:15,seen at 11:30. Reason: 2 new clients scheduled before 15yr client. Never saw the Dr, but PA-C was great. Customer Service needs better compensation and apology.

We had the best experience with Dr. Whitney Johnson and staff today. The office was clean and neat. The staff was very friendly. My son was so nervous and they gave him tons of reassurance. We are very thankful for their help and would recommend them to anyone.

Went for an ingrown toenail and I will say the NP and DR were phenomenal. My issue is their billing team. One, how are you going to quote me $87 for my final bill but send me a bill for $172 - ummm wth....Also, snuck in a "finance charge" when I did not finance anything- again wth ...I am not sure if that is even legal as I did not agree to that regardless if I was late (I was waiting for my HSA funds to load). Regardless, its a shame because of the wonky inaccurate overbilling, I will not return.

Overall, a poor experience. Negatives- The doctor never introduced himself (definitely felt more like a number and not a patient), entirety of appointment (including foot procedure and discussion of private information) was done with door open, I was told I’d receive 2 prescriptions for post-op care and that was never sent to the pharmacy or even added to my notes at the office, voicemail states they will call back same business day and that was NOT true for the the majority of the voicemails I left them, voicemail also states the office takes a two hour lunch every day, I needed 3 extra numbing shots to dull the pain to a tolerable level, and overall not a very welcoming atmosphere (no music in lobby and not the most welcoming of employees) Positives- the nurse for my appointment was very pleasant, knowledgeable, cordial, and shared great post-op instructions. She is the reason for two stars instead of just one.

I went to Nashville Family Foot Care on 9/7/23 for a toe nail issue that was hurting and swollen. I was a first time patient and they got me in and took care of the issue. OMG! They are wonderful. Jessica got me an appointment the same day I called and being a new patient, I was so grateful to her. Taylor and Dr. Day did a wonderful job and Taylor made me feel so much better after feeling so much stress and anxiety. Dr Day did a great job and is so personable. Thank you so much to everyone there and I would DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone!!

Nashville Family Foot Care was recommended to me on Nextdoor. I called and was lucky to get an appointment for the next day with Dr. Day. From Tabitha, that took my initial call, to Taylor to the doctor himself, I felt cared for and listened to. My wait was less than 10 minutes. I recommend this practice. The building is beautiful and easy to get in and out of.

Excellent care by Dr. Johnson! Front desk people were polite and helpful to this first time visitor. Dr. Johnson's assistant was very friendly, polite and cheerful. Did not wait too long before I was called in. Treatment was painless and thorough. Excellent practice and I highly recommend them!!
