Great Service
Ophelia Harvey is a horrible Nurse practitioner and needs to reconsider her profession. It was my first and last time coming to Neighborhood health. I am unsure if she was upset because she's running behind or if she just had a bad day, however, I didn't deserve the way she treated me. I am a part time tutor for a nonprofit in Nashville and I was required to get a physical. She came in 30+ minutes late to tell me she can't complete this medical report form because she doesn't know me. Per the email from my boss, he gave us the clinics to go to and this one was listed. I am a medical student at Meharry and my PCP is in my hometown so unfortunately I had to settle for her distasteful, unprofessional attitude. She read the form to me twice as if I cannot comprehend. She made an attempt to call someone and then left the room. She came back 5-6 minutes later and completed the physical. She asked me three times if I had an ear infection as if I had a reason to lie to her, then commented that my ears are full of wax. She told me I needed to wait for her to see her other patients before she completed my form that I needed. She said " I don't want my patients to wait over an hour. Be considerate. " I was surprised at the statement because not only has she been rude from the beginning of the appointment, she was late to mine. Now you're telling me to be considerate of someone else when you treat me like this? Unbelievable. She filled out the form aggressively after she completed the physical. On the form she said wrote on each line that she was asked to fill out, this is my first visit and she's unable to answer. I don't understand her purpose, nor her motive. I would take your concerns elsewhere.
I went into the location to have my teeth cleaned and they told me that they have to examine my teeth before cleaning them. They wanted to sell me partials which I’ve already bought from another provider nine months earlier. They didn’t clean my teeth or even give me an appointment for that. They instead gave me an appointment for partials. I did not go back to the location they because they did not clean my teeth which I wanted done. Two months later I received four mail on the same day stating I owed them $152.91 that was past due. They never did what I asked for but wanted to sell me partials.I only had one visit. I’m on a fixed income social security, have dental insurance which they used . Why do I owe them?
The most horrible experience will never go back. I am traumatized the doctor was horrible. They don't believe in giving real pain meds. The doctors don't even return calls. Worst place to get an extraction done.
Takes forever and a day to actually get an appointment scheduled at any of these clinics. We finally got my husband scheduled for one today for 9:15am. We arrived at exactly 915 on the dot but had some trouble finding parking so we walked into the clinic at 919. The lady at the desk said we missed our appt time so they would have to reschedule for another month out. For one he has diabetes and is out of insulin! Number two we were not late! But according to them if you do not arrive 15 minutes or more early then they consider you to be late. No one told us it was mandatory to be early not when I scheduled the appt and not in the multiple texts they sent reminding us of the appt. They asked us to please arrive early but didn’t say it was mandatory!! So heads up if u go here it’s mandatory no exceptions
My dentist was really good but the staff is rude and more than inconsiderate, they seem to get a kick out of inconveniencing people— and that’s not cool. If the staff wasn’t so bad I would’ve given 5 stars because the care I received was great even despite having to wait excessively long in the lobby before treatment I was pleased with the service I received but the rude staff taints the experience.
Will talk on June 28 at 2:15
Just awful. Unprofessional, unorganized, liars and rude. Artrice Fleming is very rude and unprofessional at the front desk of the dental clinic. Never again!! Don't go even if you don't have insurance. Worst experience from a Healthcare Facility that I have encountered in my life. Only the Cleveland Park Clinic. I wish the Madison location had a Dental Clinic. That location is far more professional, organized and the better customer service. You can see how compassionate the agency is just from the response of the owner. Only the five star reviews get feedback.
Seriously for a place that claims to service low income, homeless families it’s the biggest scam ever!!! I went in for a dental X-ray as a new patient thinking that they offered all dental related procedures. After I had paid $55 out of pocket and after they had performed my X-ray they asked me what I was in for. I told them I needed to get bridge work done. The dentist was like we don’t do bridge work. My question is: why are you taking people’s money especially new patients without first clarifying what services you offer and don’t offer? The referred me to two other places. They unprofessionally hounded me for the $55 while I was sitting in the dentist chair. Then I went to check out with the receptionist added some ridiculous fees ($40 deposit)that I had to pay beforehand to book my first cleaning appointment with them. Take your business elsewhere.
Staff were really nice, thank you!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
