List of Ray Hargreaves's Reviews
Dr. Hargreaves performed my Hernia surgery, and I am well pleased with my results. Awesome Job Dr. Hargreaves! Thanks!
Dr. Hargreaves has been an amazing breast surgeon. He is kind, caring, and is willing to discuss care for as long as necessary. Even after my pre-op visit, he told me to call him with any questions. He also called me right after surgery, and he called giving me pathology results after my biopsy. I would highly recommend him as one of the most outstanding doctors with whom I’ve been a patient.
Dr. Hargreaves is one of the kindest, most caring doctors with whom I’ve been a patient. He is an excellent surgeon, and his staff is fabulous. Absolutely recommend!!
Dr Hargreaves is my breast surgeon and he has been professional, thorough and accessible. He spent at least 2 hours with my husband and I discussing research, my surgical options and answering our questions prior to surgery. Dr Hargreaves stayed in close communication with my husband the morning of my surgery and everything went as well as could be expected. He and his wonderful nurse, Paula, continue to answer my phone calls promptly and have been very supportive and reassuring as my body heals. I highly recommend Dr.Hargreaves and his team if you want personalized, quality care.
had been suffering with so much pain & been to the emergency room twice with no results. I was mad, frustrated & worried because I knew something was wrong with no answer. I was then referred to Dr Hargreaves for help! I was so impressed with Dr. Hargreaves professionalism, expertise & questioning me for a solution to my pain. As of right now I am recovering & suffering less. I would highly recommend Dr. Hargreaves & staff for your needs their & prompt services.
I think Dr. Hargreaves is a wonderful surgeon, professional, personable, gives clear explanation of what to expect before, during and after surgery. His staff is wonderful also....I would highly recommend Dr. Hargreaves to anyone!!!!!
Never seen anything like it. My friend has been in pain for months. She went to see him at her wits end... She was sick of being sick. Sick of not being able to keep food down, using a cane at her age, and relentlessly crying in agony. He was belittling, condescending, and unprofessional beyond belief. He told her she looked healthy for someone in pain and that all pain (no matter who you are) is only in your head. He said she didn’t hurt and ran her out of the office. NO doctor has ever treated me or anyone I’ve been with this way. It was astounding neglect of the Hippocratic oath.
Girl at the front desk won’t even leave a message for the nurse without insurance. Wow! Take a lesson: “DONT LET THE JOB DEFINE WHO YOU ARE AS PERSON!” We are people at the end of the day! Asking a question, doesn’t require money!
I took my 15 yo daughter in for a routine office procedure. Upon Dr. Hargreaves entering the room, he immediately started to ignore that she was a minor and did not acknowledge me as he was asking questions. I’m not sure if his patients are typically adults but she was not. As a minor, the parent is the consenting party. Every time I proceeded to answer a question, he spoke over me and ignored what I was saying. Later my daughter expressed a feeling of frustration as he was asking her the same question and she gave him the best answer as she knew how. As he decided to lance or cut an abscess, he did not ask for consent. He proceeded to ask the MA or nurse, not sure her title, to prep for the procedure. Rule #1, you explain what you are going to do, why you are going to do it, and ask if it is okay to do it. He did not ask. He stated that he was going to look at it. He tried being very intimidating and just did it. Rule #2, if it is a minor, you speak to the parent or legal guardian because legally this is the consenting party. Dr. Hargreaves is very arrogant, does not listen nor does he care about the feelings of the patient. He ignored me even to the point as I asked him to stop, he did not. Which brings me to rule #3, if a patient says no, refuse treatment, or says stop, as a medical professional, you stop. I asked him to stop three times and after much time passed, that’s when he decided to stop. He did not stop when I asked him. After I asked him to stop he stalled by talking over me telling him to stop and my daughters crying. He stated “ it is a good time to stop because I am finished”. Stop means stop. It does not mean stop after you want to. It means stop when the patient ask you to stop. As a nurse, I have worked with a lot of doctors but have never met one as this. When you have a license, you have to be careful because this type of behavior is considered assault. If a patient tells me no, even to giving them a shower, I can not because that is a violation of that patients rights. I liked the MA or nurse but during the procedure, she asked if I wanted to step out? I have worked ICU and cared for patients in worse situations than this besides asking me to leave my minor child in a situation as this was unacceptable. Meanwhile, I questioned some of his practices. This was an abscess and was not cultured. The infection could have been Mersa. The doctor stated that she did not need to take antibiotics. He stated that it did not need to be bandaged because tape will tear her skin. There is a such thing as paper tape and she is not elderly which puts her at risk of skin tears. The infected fluid ran down her legs and it was everywhere by the time we had gotten home. No one should be treated as this. We will never go back. I would give 0 starts if I could.
Dr. Hargreaves lied about a surgery he claimed to have performed on me. I thought I had the surgery done. He said he did it to my mother in recovery and to me at my two week check up. I kept having the same problem and got a second opinion. Once my new doctor got my medical records he discovered I didn't have the surgery. Dr. Hargreaves just examined me under anesthesia and decided not to do it AND DID NOT TELL ME. I've suffered for four months "waiting on it to heal" as he said to and nothing got better because nothing was done!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
