Dr. Mallard is God sent! He’s caring, understanding & always gives us sound advice. Our son had several things wrong since being 4 days old & being new parents Dr. Mallard guided us with gentle hands. There’s no one like him!! We love him!!!
Dr. Mallard takes such wonderful care of my three children. I am thankful for his service to our community. What an amazing career!
Dr. Mallard had been our pediatrician since our son was born. Three more daughters and many years and doctor visits followed. With four children, I would schedule their physicals two at a time. On the morning I was taking my older two, my 13 year old daughter confided to me on the way in, “Please don’t let him be in a room with me alone. I don’t like it when he does tries to do that.” Sure enough, the moment came when Dr. Mallard suggested , “Why don’t you and your son go into the next room, and your daughter and I will stay in here and have a visit with your daughter.” Feeling forced into the situation, I did as the doctor asked. Not too much later, we all got back in the car and as the last door closed, my daughter shouted, “Why did you leave me alone with him?!” When you left, he started asking me weird questions like, “Do you drink alcohol or smoke? Are you sexually active? Are you attracted to boys? Or are you more attracted girls?” Then my 15 year old son was like, “Oh yeah… he asked weird questions..It was pretty awkward. “ I was very disappointed in Dr. Mallard’s lack of professionalism in failing to notify my husband or me that he planned to talk to my child about these delicate matters. We moved to another doctor after this.
Dr. Mallard had been the dr. for our 4 children all of their lives. While he is knowledgeable, I did feel he was a bit condescending to parents from time to time. My 13 year old daughter & 15 yr. old son had their physicals. My daughter asked not to be left alone w/ him, but he said he wanted to visit w/ her. We never went back after this.

He was my pediatrician and now he is for my kids. We love Dr. Mallard! He’s the best!
He’s the best!
There isn't a pediatrician in Nashville better thank Dr. Mallard! So thankful for his care over the years and my kids still talk about how much they miss him. He is the very best!
Dr. Mallard said it was okay that i wore my spider-man underwear inside out when I was four, and allowed me to stay on when I was 24 in college. Smart, caring, articulate and genuinely cares about good health.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
