Dr. Kroop has seen my (adult) son on an inpatient basis for 3 years. She is dismissive and condescending in tone and demeanor. Possibly because there is no official diagnosis, she seems to consider him a malingerer. His condition presents like bacterial meningitis, but it isn't. He has been hospitalized 8 times, twice in ICU, yet she minimizes our concerns. She dislikes questions and lacks any hint of empathy. He feels worse after every visit from her. Her partners are great so we stay.

I am a new patient with Dr. Susan Kroop, and my appointment with her was one of the best I've had anywhere. I felt at ease when she entered the exam room, because although her knowledge & professionalism was obvious, she presented an energy that was kind, caring, and positive. I left her office with confidence that I can cope with my health condition.

Dr, Kroop diagnosed and monitored my SLE in 1995. Due to her knowledge and working out of the box she administer chemotherapy and follow me for 5 years. I always felt welcome to her office and much care for. Her interest in me was sincere both as a patient and human being. /she is one of the best doctors I ever had.AEY

I have seen Dr. Kroop for about 6 years. I was immediately impressed by how much time she took in my initial appointment to get to know me as a person as well as a patient. I never feel rushed and she takes a sincere interest in all aspects of my health, emotional and mental as well as physical. I am extremely pleased with her care and have already recommended her to other people.

I'm certain Dr. Kroop is a fine phycian, however, I haven't been able to get clear answers to my questions. As well as her tendency to ramble on about matters that have no concern. When I ask a direct question, I expect a direct answer. Dr. Kroop talks in circles and really answers nothing. I've seen her twice, but I'm not going back.

I have been seeing Dr. Kroop for three years. Besides being efficient and knowlegable, she sees the whole patient not just the speciality area. She evaluates the overall condition of her patient and is quick to spot areas of concern. She is always calm and supportive.
