List of The Pain Management Group: Centennial's Reviews
What I experienced was being lied to, being coerced, and my pain and overall health issues ignored. There is zero caring. I've experienced great PM clinics and not so good clinics, but I've never been treated as poorly as this before. It was so dehumanizing to be told by the NP "I don't care" and "It doesn't matter what you say" while she looks at you with judgement and rolls her eyes. NO! A patient's health does matter! Shame on these people. What they did to me caused very serious health issues that I'm still dealing with, and will likely still be dealing with for many months. I can't speak on the other PMG locations, but this particular clinic is so reckless and ignorant of what chronic pain is, that you wind up feeling like a piece of meat, instead of a human being in need of pain relief. If you care about your health, well being, and perhaps even your very life - try a different location or a completely different clinic. I wouldn't wish what I experienced on anyone. It was traumatizing and I can only hope and pray that I can undo the damage that was done to me. They engage in very risky treatment plans, and ignore patients when they try to explain the ill effects of the treatment. Don't put yourself in harm's way. There are safer clinics than this one.
NP ZADA NP VERY RUDE TODAY
I was referred to Dr. McHugh by my orthopedic, post two failed lumbar fusions, permanent nerve damage and daily pain that is debilitating. I have never been spoken to so disrespectfully in my 62 years of life. He would not allow me to speak, was critical of my medication list, prescribed by rheumatologist, PCP, and cancer clinic doctors. He is clearly uneducated about complex diseases, and has no knowledge of autoimmune diseases and small fiber neuropathy, in addition to nonstop nerve and arthritic pain in entire spine. Never looked at my MRI or CT reports, labs etc. or stopped talking to listen to me, a patient, seeking help. I usually record significant office visits, so I can give to family members, which is helpful to them and my care needs, and glad I did this time. If he speaks to patients like this, I can’t imagine how he speaks to his staff and family members. He was rude, condescending and took disrespectful to a new level. He should not be allowed to practice with this type attitude towards patients. Find a real doctor, who is competent and committed, to the wellbeing and quality of life, all patients deserve. No one wants to live life in pain, which is not living a normal life.
Dr McHugh was very professional & talked in a way I could understand him instead of using medical terms that I can't understand! He was friendly & I feel like I will receive good care from him! He took time to explain things & I feel like he cares about his patients! I definitely recommend him & his clinic
Unfortunately, Dr Mc Hugh talks more than he listens. He is great at referring you out to Chiropractors, physical therapy and yoga classes. Keep your dignity, money and peace of mind, don’t waste your time with him.
I found that dr mchugh took the time to assess me and recommended an alternative to opioids.I’m glad because I didn’t really want to go that route. The office staff were polite and really listened. Sad to say that isn’t always the case.
If you can find another pain Doctor I gave it a 1 star because the lady Doctor I see is good. But the front office lady is very very rude you try to tell her what the Doctor said to you and she saids something totally different 🙄 🤔 when it come to appointment. She doesn't say Good morning , hey, hello she has a kiss my ass attitude never smiles like she don't want to be there. She talks to patients very rude , It was a old man there maybe in he late 70ish and wasnt his appointment day and he told her he didn't not know because his wife set the appointment and I guess they got the day mix up ,she goes on to say very rudely to him well I know this can't be your day to be here because this and that. She was so harsh to him. She also never says anything when leaving after she make appointments, she seems very miserable. And not friendly at all.!!!! And I know it's her went last month she wasn't there and the young girl was so welcoming saying hello, good morning with a smile. This is at ascension 300 20th Ave 6 floor
Well 1st of if a patient has anxiety , please don't be seen by McHugh. He is very overwhelming. No bedside manor. He didn't give me a chance to speak and the few things I did manage to get in He said "please stop rambling". He had no idea what I have been prescribed but yet I spent 30 min filling our so much paper work. And brought my meds like I was told and never once asked for them or obviously read my papaper work. Now I'm having to talk woth my pharmacist on how to get off of some of the meds I been prescribed for my fusion T2-L2 2 mths ago, bc he did not fill. Only filled the damn pain meds that if he would have given me a chance to talk, I could have told him I can't afford them. So again, I'm gonna have to take myself off everything on my own which is pretty scary. Oh and he made out like I don't move or excersise....ummmm I mow my on grass, clean my own house, and spend lots of time at ball field with my kids. The few things I do know he said was completely opposite of what my surgeon and pt has told me just the past week. I was so upset when he left the room I couldn't even speak to front desk. I will not ever be back. He wasn't in the room with me 15minuts tops , felt like he was too busy just pushed me in and out. I gave always heard horror story's about pain management. But wow...and let me say I never wanted ro have surgery or take meds. I made it 41 yrs and this has been the worst mistake of my life. I have never felt so degraded and disrespected in life
Good NP's and doctors, always take care of pain and me.
This clinic did nothing to ease my pain

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
