Appointments run smoothly and on-time. Office staff is friendly, respectful and helpful. Everyone is compassionate and actually listens to my concerns. They form a partnership with the client to provide excellent care. Your mental & emotional health are worth it!
They done, and are doing me right.Staff are very friendly towards me even if i seem irritated,or upset, due to my ongoing illness. These doctors, and nurses, and psychiatrist are and have been very thorough in my treatment. They are actually concerned about your treatment.I have never been rushed,or talked badly to as you most definately would at other treatment hospitals. They care, and will call, text,or whatever have to do get in touch with you just to see if doing alright,or need anything.I cant speak for others, but im sure this hospital is loved by many, many, people. They saved my life, and they are continuing to do so.I look forward to my monthly visits because my two docyors, and psychiatrist make me feel happy when im usually not.I love this place. The Dunkin Donuts also.:+)
This is my opinion only!! Others may have had positive experiences and received good care. If you are in danger please seek help! They used to be great . Best staff around. However the hospital is now using the same restrictions as prisons. no privacy, no doors on bathrooms, some staff are rude and treat you without dignitiy, TVs are behind plexiglass and you cant see the tv, and remote is kept by staff, paper gowns for some, and other unnecessary dehumanizing treatments. Too bad!! That was my safe place when I was suicidal. now its no longer an option.

To hell Wit the place
They actually did harm that required surgery. The doc prescribed incorrect meds and would not listen. Got a doc outside of Vandie who was confused at Vandy’s approach and quickly changed medications, and it worked, but the damage had been done. Go elsewhere. Both my psychologist and psychiatrist condemned my treatment at Vandie - very unusual for professionals to call out their own. A very uncaring, incompetent place.
I went here for ongoing medication management for a medication I have been taking for 28 years. In a year and a half I have been assigned 3 different psychiatrist (the previous two left Vanderbilt.) The last one, a 3rd year resident, after seeing me for 15 mins referred me to another doctor for unnecessary medical test that neither of the previous two doctors ordered after seeing me for more then 6 months each. Then I got a lecture and was belittled by the attending psychiatrist. I will not be coming back.
They helped me overcome my OCD.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
