I saw Dr Worthington for 2-3 years on & off in the late 1980’s, he struck me as a pleasant well mannered gentleman who put my needs first. early on he performed one or two spinal steroid epidurals and when those didn’t work, he ordered some cutting edge in hospital pain management technology - while it didn’t long term work permanently his efforts proved that conservative and even advanced pain management was not going to work. i eventually had to have an expensive, extensive spinal fusion, which helped a lot - however i did remember Dr Worthington for his diligent efforts to help me out of a serious situation - great guy- great doctor in my book.

I had surgery on my neck recently and Dr. Worthington was my anesthesiologist. He talked with me for about 25-30 minutes during pre-op, getting to know me, explaining every detail of the surgery, and making me laugh. He even made the operating room enjoyable right before the anesthesia by singing to me!
