I was diagnosed with colon cancer and I was referred to Dr. William Polk at The Surgical Clinic in Nashville TN. As far as I’m concerned this Dr. is amazing. My surgery was a little more complex than we first thought and he performed a miracle. My family and I highly recommend him for cancer surgery.

Dr Polk and the surgical center team are the most professional, caring, and prompt medical facility that I have ever dealt with. I had heard great things through referrals prior to my first visit, but never dreamed how amazing this facility would be. They respect your time, encourage questions and educate you well with your diagnosis and healing. During my hospital stay there was never any waiting or anticipation about seeing the doctor(s). They were always there and available with daily updates. Despite their busy busy schedule, they made me feel as if I was their only patient. This group deals with the medical situations you hope never reoccur- but if they do, it’s good to know Dr Polk and his crew are around. AMAZING!!

Dr Polk is an excellent doctor. He reviewed the x- rays, explained the problem, then called the referring dr and talked to him.

I had three cancer surgical procedures done by Dr Polk over the course of a year. I recovered well from each. As a member of a Facebook support group,I am aware of the many common and even expected side effects that can result from such surgeries. I am so thankful that I have had very few problems, and I attribute that largely to Dr Polk’s surgical skills. I pray that I won’t need his expertise again but, if I do, I pray I can go to him.
