I love Dr. Darling--he spends a lot of time with me talking and is very caring and extremely competent. I do not have children and am over 60 so there is just maintenance but I would feel confident to have him as my ob/gyn if I were of childbearing years. He is delightful and so is his staff.

I have been a patient of Dr. Darling for over 5 years now. I feel very comfortable with Dr. Darling and his staff. I feel like he is very down to earth and kind. I feel like he is a good listener and very patient.

i went to see dr. darling about an ovarian cyst...i was in ALOT of pain and it seemed very urgent to me! i couldnt even drive without hunching over, so my husband and i took off work to drive a few hours to see him(he was recommended to me) but he didnt seem to really care about the pain i was in! he gave me meds and sent me on my way after a VERY long wait and VERY rude staff!! the staff didnt seem to care any more than him! i WOULD NOT recommend dr. darling to anyone...since this experiance i have found another doctor in the oak ridge are that has been great and very helpful! (dr. carter)

it only took one time to Dr. Darlings office and i switched doctors!! The wait was very long (and there werent many patients in the office), the staff was very rude and didnt seem like they enjoyed their job! when i finally was seen i sat in a room for another 20-30min. when Dr. Darling came into the room he didnt seem to listen to my problems and concerns and he wasnt in the room for very long! there was no exams or anything he made his credibility questionable?!?! i left his office with a bill and no idea of what was really wrong?!?! i went to another doctor (Dr. Carter) and come to find out i had a urinary infection. you would think something as common as a urinary infection a doctor would be able to help...NOT DR. DARLING!! i would NOT NOT NOT recommend Dr. Darling! if he couldnt help with a urinary infection how could he help a less common problem?!?! i dont think he would know what to do!!

Being new to the area I went to dr. Darling through a recommendation. At first he seemed to be alright. But when I developed a problem he was extremely rude and unhelpful. Instead of investigating the cause of my extreme pain, he wanted to put me on some powerful meds for six months and then do a hysterectomy without knowing what was wrong. Being ill and in a lot of pain is the worst time to find out you have a terrible doctor! I found a wonderful doctor at that time (Dr. Rebecca Walker). She did a thorough exam and testing and found out the cause of my problem. I would not recommend Dr. Darling to my worst enemy!

Not very helpful, staff would not return phone calls, I was pregnant and dehydrated and he would not see me.

The best doctor I have ever had! Super bed side manner. Takes time to listen and very knowledgeable. He delivered all three of my children with no complications. The wait to see him is a little long because he is in high demand. I highly recommend this doctor.
