See no rating for compassion , so I will just write this comment. Dr Speckner is very rude and non compassionate to someone who has just signed up for Tenn Care. Was very ugly to a family member who has lost his vision due to glaucoma . He was more concerned that he might not get paid for his services, than he was in caring for my family member. He even made the comment" you know this is very expensive care and we cannot continue to give free care." I would not use him again if it was myself, due to his rude, uncaring behavior. He will get paid by Tenn Care, so what was his problem? I will report him, because no one deserves to be treated by any one, let alone a person who considers himself a doctor. My brother was hurt and humiliated by his concern more for money than actually the care he was giving. He was making these comments while he was examining my brother!

I had surgery for Glaucoma on my right eye and have had good results. Dr. Speckner has been very nice, perfessional, and thorough. I have had excellent results and would highly recommend him. I will continue to see him for my glaucoma and regular eye exams along with other family members that has been impressed with this entire process.
